carpet removal question

How much does a carpet even weigh to want to take it out for street use ? I bet you could lose the same amount of weight by going on a diet.

All the carpet I'd say weighs like 10 pounds or so..He doesn't want to remove it just for weight, he wants to remove it because the rest of the car is clean and the carpet looks like crap and brings the rest of the car down with it..

That big random hole on the driver side isn't so random..It's from a current or once was leaking clutch master cylinder..I've seen it on tons of 240sx..

Once I was in a junkyard and I found this '93 carpet that was so screwing clean it was awesome. I was soo happy and about to remove it, then I removed the driver side mat and that stupid hole was there, ruined my day.
