anyone ever seen a vented CF hood for s13? Nothing crazy-gawdy looking.. just something with a *functional* vent? Worried about turbo heat on the CF.

S13s rock! And I haven't had a problem with the ladies (must be the Tahoe helping me out...nothing like 20" rims!) Anyway...shipping will probably kill me if I get the strawberry conversion won't it? That sucks...

Dear Customer,

The following is the quote you requested. We recommend that you print this form for your records.

FREIGHT CHARGE

Your freight charge is based on the shipment description as provided by you and attached to this email.

Your total discounted cost for this shipment is: $129.11Your quote reference number is: 156575Note: Your quote is based on the physical weight provided. The size of your shipment can impact on the final calculation. Your freight agent will be glad to explain the size calculation. I requested a freight quote on a 15lb hood. The dimensions I gave were 60"x55"x 4" high .I requested the price of shipping the hood fromLos Angeles to San Jose...

So if they're charging a "Flat rate" of $125 or even $150to ship the hood.I would say that is fair considering the dimensions of the hood.http://www.americanfreightcompanies.com/

I would like to hear from people that purchased a carbon hood for the 89-94 S13 .Thanks,BobOrlando Florida

There's a VIS carbon hood with a center vent on Ebay for like 380 i think, too lazy to go look again. I want to get a hood eventually, but I think I'll leave it unpainted on my black car. any thoughts on this?(read: flame me now)
