It's all good, no feelings hurt here... although, on my cousins other 88 corolla he had it supercharged, and he got the motor direct import from japan... so there's alot of performance to be gotten out of the 80's Corolla's even if his was a FWD... performance can be obtained out of any car if you really work at it... it's reliability that starts to suffer... thats why he had the 88 for only a short time... He actually got the 88 after they (my aunt and uncle) got the 89 cause he found out there was so much he could do... he only regrets not being able to get the hatchEzeebMOS3 wrote:I'm sure the Corolla is a nice, dependable car that will last the daily drive many years and miles. However I myself, am all about performance and I don't think you will be finding any in a Corolla. I'm sure many will agree with me. Sorry for hurting anyones feelings.
Good point about the older RWD 80s models, those would be sweet.
