dang that sucks... i guess its just armagedon day for 240sx's today XD how come you dont just replace the starter yourself? the only problem i had was locating it. most other cars have it on the driver side and higher up. (then again ive only had most experience with FWD cars) but now that i know where it is, its a simple matter of getting the part and swapping it in...mudvayne9790 wrote:funny thing that happened to me today but i was changing the rear center lamp and i forgot to disconnect the battery. i know everything is the same as u described. engine light is on oil, i cant still use my lights and everything. I think it was the starter to because i tried to jump it with another car and it still didnt work. took it to the shop today cuz i work tomorrow
I wouldn't think changing a light would be a big deal. I've swapped headlights, interior lights, gauge lights, etc with the battery plugged in.mudvayne9790 wrote:f i was changing the rear center lamp and i forgot to disconnect the battery. i know

where is the clutch relay? how do i bypass it? and that link doesnt seem to be working for me.Dill_XD wrote:I really think you should try bypassing your Clutch interlock relay (Clutch switch) I had this happen to me last week. Good battery, wouldn't start with a jump, starter was good. I got the one click when i turned the key.
