So his exhaust can make it's way into the cabin?

SWEET!

Not to mention it sounds horrid.

here's my input on the oval vs canister:

it depends on the style of your car.

for like GT to drift type car's with accomodating aero and ride height, I think canister type exhausts match perfectly...

but for like a stock bodied car w/ subtle oe style aero, ovals look more than right with it.

The oval fits better in a stock rear bumper, and I have had both. I like the oval a lot better (sound/look). I just had normal steel pipe welded together for the exhaust with a muffler I picked out for cheap.

yeah i was on stock height and the canister scrapped the ground on some roads, the oval never has.

hahaha dude I'm with ya, right now it's broken and basically is a straight pipe right off the cat and that does not sound good. I was so strapped for cash i used old semi-rusted pipe and bought an ebay muffler just to pass inspection. few more days till my tax return comes in. I can't wait

I decided to chop my greddy canister off for a more stockish oval muffler from dynomax. It really just depends on what YOU want. I wanted a more stock look but it had to flow. Here's the link to my muffler. http://www.dynomax.com/products/ultrafloweld.html

My muffler is from ebay, one of the $100 ones as apposed to the $40 crap they have on there too, and its held up perfectly for almost 6 years now, come to think of it, its the oldest performance part on the whole car lol. And about the only one that hasn't been upgraded since it was installed.

Open DP sounds horrible.

Especially on an NA ka/sr.

On a turbo one it will sound a little better. But it still doesn't have any sound.

But then again, some people just want their exhaust as loud as possible.

As for exhaust making it's way in the cabin, it does.
