Really?? I went onto, I think the sites called TORONTO JDM ENGINES, something like that and their prices are like anyone elses, some engines were a bit pricier. Is that what you mean?

I bought mine from Canada S13 SR20 and it was fine, the pan came a little damaged so I had to replace it but I upgraded anyways and I paid around $1500 for engine and trans. Of course shipping gets you a little with freight. Miles were 35,000 I saw the front clip

Bought mine from Canada, but then I'm from Canada. They only thing I'd be worried about is having US customs rip it appart looking for drugs, and you recieving a huge box of parts to assemble jk. I bought mine sight unseen, which isn't the best way obviously, but the engine runs great. Only engine problem at this point is un-related to seller(see my post "went from good to bad in a hurry" in this forum for info.Talk to the sponsor in the advertiser specials.

I herd it was cheap in canada and we get a better exchange. But 1500 with engine and transmission is real cheap. The next time I get a SR I'm going to canda..lol

Bought my s13 blacktop from jdmsource.com. The motor arrived 7 days after I placed the order, included was a sidemount and the piping. Can't tell yet how the motor runs b/c the intercooler was covered in concrete......yes i said concrete, you know that hard stuff everybody likes to do burnouts on. Anyway its been 11 days since i got the motor, its completely installed with the exception of the intercooler. The customer service rep. says it'll be here next week. All I know is my intercooler better get here and that motor better purr like a kitten or else I'll have to take a trip up there to knock the maple syrup out of him. Moral of the story.... don't buy from canada unless you're willing to cross a few borders to straighten things out.
