No, I'm mad because they f*** suck! I'm mad because with the exception of a few standouts, most everything Hollywood and TV regurgitates is either a rehash of an earlier idea, a series of stunts and special effects loosely tied together with a storyline unworthy of a commercial for adult diapers, or stars Paul Walker.

The fact that no matter how wooden, predictable, and weak entertainment is, and this includes music, people gooble it up like junkies licking spilled heroin off the crackhouse floor is even more disturbing.

THIS passes for a decent film, this? No, I'm not going to pretend that this isn't the metaphorical equivalent of a hard, crooked generic fleshlight. This is a real f***.

:rotfl ... One of the best Hollywood true grit car chases ever. Gone are the days of the true stunt driving, replaced by CGI and quick editing. We need more McQueens and H.B. Halickis dammit! H.B., God bless him, accidently got hit while filming this from the original GI60S, hits a pole at about 70mph+, crew thinks it's over for the day yet he manages to get the car running and keep going even while personally injured. Talk about realistic! Why? So you and I can enjoy our popcorn. The man was, and still is the King.

The best part about these movies are the geeks you meet on opening night. Wouldn't miss it!

I'm in it if there's a lot of the Rock and Vin Diesel staring at each other trying to figure out if it's the same mother or father.

This looks like the best plot of all of them so far. Look forward to it. Especialy since we always have a local meet to eat and drink heavily before watching it.
hell i'll be down just for that, lil bit of liquid courage doesn't hurt anyone, especially if having a buzz makes the movie better.. :chuckle:

Why? There really isn't any movies anymore that are centered around cars. At least ones that are mainstream.

I'll watch them regardless of how "bad" they are. If anything, they're fun for a laugh. I think it's funny how people b**** that they wasted their $10 seeing it. If you go in with the mindset that you're not going to like it, don't see it. If you're mad about the $10, chances are you shouldn't be seeing movies.

Just a little rant.

These movies are mindless fun that have to do with cars, not to be taken seriously, I'll watch it but maybe when it comes on DVD or something.

Yeah, the best part of movie is obviously NOT the movie itself. .Spending the money to see it in a theatre, you'll likely feel like you need Clearasil, earmuffs, and most importantly.... a refund.
