I bet none of you guys read that he will be using a Microtech ECU! My friends RB20 with microtech has 390hp at 23psi, stock internas and it's a daily driver. I pushed 587hp @wheels in my RB25 with stock internals @27psi and c16 gas. YES and RB20 can do at least 450hp! THE POWER OF THE MICROTECH!!!!

Eh... blown turbo pushing 5.8psi... once I rebuild my small T3/T4 or just buy another (about the same price these days)... I'll dyno and let you know.
Is that all the stock boost is on the RB20? I haven't hooked up a boost gauge to mine yet. It's still stock so I didn't even bother yet.

he is right... .7 bar is stock (~10psi). I'm running a used turbo from a honda's Drag turbo kit... boost from that kit should be 7psi but I have a bit of shaft play which is probably causing the loss in boost.

well I decided i have the perfect opprtunity to help the RB20 owners by experimenting on my Skyline. I have to sell the Levin first but I should have the R32 on the road in about two months. It's a bone stock GTS-T RB20DET in the condition you stateside guys are getting your motors. I will get some baseline dyno runs as it sits, then after a full tune up, full ehxuast, GT-R intercooler, throw the E-manage on it and tweak the fuel at stock boost then start cranking it up. I can get RB20s for like $100.00 so I'll see what she can take so you guys don't have to risk your RB20s. I warn you though, if I blow it it's FJ TIME!

woah... cool. While you're getting the GTR cooler try and throw some GTR cams in as well. I'd like to see how that upgrade pans out. Good luck!

500whp, easily possible. Big turbo, good engine management! NEW transmission! Rb20 transmission is weak!
