loosen up the motor mounts, use a car jack to lift the transmission bellhousing next to the oilpan. move the sway bar in the front down(dont have to take it off completely). unbolt the oil pan, there should be three bolts holding the oil pickup stick two in the front and one 10mm on the driverside. hope this helps.

you have to remove those 2 brackets that mount from the block to the bellhousing (i think. they mount under the engine/transmission at least) and there are 2 bolts inbetween the oil pan and the dust shield.

im glad i welded the bung onto the pan when the motor was out of the car. SO easy to take the pan off...

I had to totally drop the pan about 5 times this past week with the engine still in the car. I was chasing a leak from what I thought to be the pan but it turns out it's my rear main seal.

OP, as stated before you have to jack the engine up from the transmission while the engine mounts are unbolted from the crossmember. This will give you enough clearance to access the oil pickup tube then you can pull the oil pan straight out. You might need to drop your sway bar too, but that takes all of 5 minutes.

Why not just get a RHD brake master from a wrecker or even Ebay. The brake lines are on the other side and may solve youre problem. You will also have to re-route your brake lines but thats not too hard.

He'll run into his wiper motor, and probably a few other things.

Also, his brake pedal will be on the passenger's side, not something you'd want.

im thinking he meant just putting a RHD master cyl on the existing spot. not moving the booster/pedal assy to the passenger side..
