lmao people are insane, i drive a 92 with a stock 95 block in it and can easily smoke the tires all the way through 3rd no problem. fukcin raise it to maybe 3 or 3500 and drop the clutch, will spin all the way no problems, and i jus sold my stock auto 95 and that car would spin the one tire all day long( it was open diff....duh) and in the rain both would go. the guy who started this thread is not quite suited for a 240.

wow someone said there 5spd 240 would barely do a burnout... man my 96 altima will flat out burn them and i had a 91 240 firing on 3 cylinders and it'd burn the crap out of the tires too....hmmmm

DAMN!!!!!!1 I just went last night and smoked the shiit out of my tires doing a power brake. It was cool.

When I try just popping the clutch at 5500rpm it wheelhops a second, then squats and launches like a bat out of hell.

I've always been afraid of powerbraking a 5-sp for fear of clutch damage. But it held beautiflully. I love this car. BTW, I have a welded diff too.
