Nope, your not alone...I try to be nice but the truth of the matter is that there are the good conservative republican people, and then there are those that are sadly misguided...stupid hippy liberals.

I'm Libertarian by nature, does that fall into this thread's definition of "hippy liberal" or am I one of the Good Ole Gun-Totin' Brethren?

Life is about to get much better...as my plane tickets to Amsterdam arrived last night. Woo hoo! Time for an absinthe binge.

Liberals tell you what you can't do: Smoke Eat too much Drive too fast Indiscriminant sex without protection

Conservatives tell you what you are must to do: Go to a church like mine Dress like me Think like me Sex of any kind except with your spouse, with the lights off, and missionary position only. And not too often, that's perverted. And don't enjoy it too much either.

I find both extremes threatening.

Well..Bill and Hillary Clinton could move to Sweden along with most of the other Liberal Congressmen/women. For that matter, if I never see Tom Daschel, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein (-sp) and Richard Gephardt, I would never complain about politicians.

If CNN would get canceled and never to be seen again. And all those stupid reality TV shows for that matter. Yeah, I watch reality TV, its called Football and Racing!

ill go with them sweden is the land of beautiful woman. Tan and blonde its like a rule there

Life would be a lil better if I won the lottery and paid off my one car and got the 240 completed finally and bought a house instead of this renting BS.

But other than that and the lack of women everything else is good.

Yeah, like I do... I mean... uh... Nevermind.

Yeah, the only celebrity's opinion I like to hear is Eminems.

"I don't give a ****." - I agree with that...

And he has some minor disagreements with political figures.

People often criticize Bush's style as "shooting from the hip" when he talks to reporters. I like it. I don't care if people call him a cowboy, if people say he's not as "crisp" or as "well spoken" as other so called "camera-friendly" presidents.

Bush never had to sweat in front of a camera and explain to his countrymen that it all depends on what your definition of "is" is....

Interestingly, Bush is one of very few political leaders I'd feel comfortable sitting around drinking a beer with. Hes not a seasoned statesman, he's just a guy with a job. And for that I am thankful.

Clinton's the first man I'd choose to help start a crime ring.

I'm glad to see some initiative being taken overseas, but I worry about our personal freedoms. Call me paranoid if you wish, but we must keep an eye out for Big Brother (no jokes about the stupid reality show please). We now have a Department of Homeland Security, which is supposedly going to keep us safe from Domestic and Foreign threats. Isn't the the NSA's job? Why couldn't all of the various government agencies have worked together in the first place. Please, share your thoughts. <bracing for possible slam>

Its true. Its like 1984, only in 2003. Every little thing we do is being monitored by the Feds. thats right, i know you guys are reading this, so Mr. Pres, good job and keep up the good work, now that im legal age, im voting to keep you in office. and for the other guys, lets not get too carried away with the monitoring stuff, its bad enough everything good here in the country is censored. making sure we dot our Is and cross our Ts is going a little far to make sure we arent violating the 1st amendment too much.

BTW he lives like 1/4 mile down the street from my apt. I fly customers over his house all the time and point it out like it's a national landmark (which it sorta is)

I'm a bit late to this thread, but that's freakin' hilarious. Do you ever see him in the backyard doin' what he does best? :D
