Can i modify Ka Rad to fit Sr?

Hey guys

Was wondering is it possible to modify Ka rad so that it can have the same outlet as Sr? Bascially cutting the outlet from the right side and welding to the left and patching the ride side up. Can it be done or will it ruin the rad?

Its mishimoto rad and its fairly new so i don't want to buy another new rad for sr swap.

If you have a TIG, it should be possible, might not look pretty afterwords, but I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible.

You could just cheap out and buy a lower radiator hose from a Dodge Neon, and make it fit.

Sell the KA one and buy an SR one, i am sure you can sell it without losing much. It is worth it in the long run if you care about your swap at all.

It can be done, just find a local shop that has the tools and knowledge to weld aluminum, and tell them what you want done.

You could just use it for now, keep an eye out on the WTB forums and sell it when it comes up. Also they do sell crossover kits for KA rad on an SR.
