You do not have to take it to the dealer. Many big tire/rims places work on these as well, EVEN Wal-Mart has the tool to reset it.rcglfr wrote:its is amazing how many cars with TPMS have problems with this system! I work in the automobile business and it seems like 50% of the cars I see with the TPMS have issues with this system, even high-end cars like BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc. Its obvious that these systems are not fully developed at this point or they are just making them so poorly that they will not work for very long. Its just another way these manufacturers use to get you to bring the car back to them for repairs whenever the IDIOT lights come on!I think the letters TPMS really stand for TIRE PMS! Not a place you want to be!
that is where I had mine done as well.nick425 wrote:Discount tire swapped my sensors for free no problems when I bought my konig's w/ falken tires.
they just need to be rebuilt. It is $14 a sensor to rebuild at Discount tire.bigdaddychia wrote:HEck my sensor stays on all the time now cause they have so many miles on them and dont work anymore.
