can air in my brake lines cause my front tires to shake ?

I agree, but he said that he had noticed it leaking for 5-6 months, so then he should have known to be checking his fluid, therefore really negating the thread.

Although you think you have magically sovled your problem, i highly doubt that p/s fluid solved a rotational vibration issue. The fluid does not "resist" movement, it aids in movement. your p/s pump provides hydraulic pressure that helps you turn wheel/rack.

Ballancing an out-of-round wheel does not fix the issue.

All air in the brake lines can do is cause a "soft" pedal.
