sory hijacker but i refuse to post in the "suspension technical section" nobody even goes back there and its been 24 hours and nobody has said a single peep.

ok so my front tires shake at around 40 mph. i got my tires balanced 2 days ago and an alignment yesterday. my frotn wheel is bent a lil bit. but it balances out perfect so its not that. also i didn't tighten my rear calipers nipple all the way so a tiny bit of brake fluid has been leaking, whoch cause me to believe i might have air in the lines. the pedal feels fine tho. but i'll bleed it out anyways. what else could be wrong ?

Your bent wheel is the problem. Balancing a bent wheel is only a crutch, it only allows you to run it in the short term. It doesn't solve the wobble problem.

Also, depending on how hard you hit, the axle, knuckle or any of the suspension could be helping that wobble even more.

So get a new wheel and check. Most likely, that's it.

It may balance out but that doesnt fix the BEND IN THE WHEEL. That only balances the assembly on a free wheeling tire balancer...In order to fix a bent wheel it must be bent back to how it originally was...or buy a new one. Makes a lot of sense that a bent wheel will cause a vibration.

And as for the apology... I'm sure the reason that no one posted in the suspension technical section is because you answered your own question, but then disreguarded the problem in the same post by saying that the bent wheel isnt the problem...it is...and it will be until u replace it.

You may have also shifted a belt on the tire. I would return to the shop that balanced the wheels and ask them why it is shaking and have them check out the front end, and hell, u may have even lost a wheel weight since they balanced them and that could be causing it. If you dont know, take it to someone that does.

I told you, balancing a bent wheel is only a crutch. You can only use the wheel at low speeds! DO you think I make this crap up or what?

when u balance a bent wheel it only finds the best point to balance it. alot of the times you cant balance it out to zeroes on each side, they just get it as close to 0.00 as they can. either send it out to get fixed or buy another one. if you leave it on too long it will eventually affect your suspension in that corner. so fix it and see if the problem goes away.

the thing is that it only happens sometimes. not all the times. you guys are thinking that its none stop. no. it only happens once in a lil bit. so i still dont think its the rim. im glad how i ask a question and nobody still answers it. remember guys i asked about the brake fluid not the bent wheel

Seriously, we didn't answer your question about brake fluid because it is ridiculous.

Its going to be the bent wheel.

I think I answered the question pretty clearly...If you cant figure it out take it to someone that does. If you think a shake in the front end has something to do with a rear caliper bleader, then sir you are completely lost. If you think it does then check the bleeders, then blead the system and if it doesnt fix it then we were right about the bent wheel. If you blead the system and it fixes it then you were right. But argueing about it online...isnt gonna fix your car or make you feel any better about it.

If you dont know how to fix it...THEN TAKE IT TO SOMEONE THAT DOES. BUT DONT ASK STUPID QUESTIONS ON THIS SITE AND EXPECT NOT TO RECIEVE AN EDUCATED ANSWER TO AN UNEDUCATED QUESTION.

we did answer your question. your original diagnosis could be wrong. you asked us to help and we are. if you want go ahead and bleed the brakes and see if were wrong. it wouldnt be a bad thing to do anyways but, i used to work at a tire store for almost a year. people came in with the same exact feeling, we replaced the wheel or sent it out to get fixed and viola! no more shaking/vibration. if there were air in ur lines it would only shake during braking. also since ur wheel is bent when you brake its going to put more force on ur wheel causing it to vibrate more because your putting more load on it slowing down because of the weight shift to the front.<-------run on sentence i kno

Bro, you CAN, you can balance out a box on those things, but that doesnt mean you're good to go, trust me i work at a CORPORATE OWNED Tire Shop, and yeah there is a lot of BS being spit out by those guys at the front counter.

your problem is your bent wheel, get it fixed!

Air in your brake system will only cause vibration when your BRAKES are used.

My thoughts exactly... all could have been prevented with some regular maintenence that should be done anyway...But obviously some people just dont take care of their cars.
