p.s. If Cam gets banned, those who are waiting on parts will have one less line of communication.

I have read almost all the posts on this matter and have only posted once, except this which will be my second and last post on the subject.

There is a definate inconsistency in the way that Jon got banned for lying (kind of) and defaming a company without proof. But Cameron has seemingly (I admit I have no proof) been lying through his teeth for months now, and anyone else remember when he defamed both Unstable Hybrids and Venus without proof? Why is Jon banned but Cameron has and advertisement running 24/7. I'm not trying to insult the mods, I'm just trying to point out why so many people see your actions as unfair.

I think we're well beyond that point.

Thanks for your concern though.

on December 6th, i bought a header for my 95 240sx from Cameron off of ebay. Seeing that he had zero feedback i was weary. Then i came to see that he was advertising on NICO and selling about 15 other items at the same time and decided it was ok to purchase. I also found his website, and it looked legitimate. Today is the 23rd of December and still no header...I have emailed him asking him where my header is and he said i should've got it last friday(19th) or saturday(20th) at the latest. It's now the end of Tuesday and still no header. I don't know what's going on, but i've sent an email to him expressing my concern. Just my 2 cents worth, as a customer of his.

thanks cameron, i can tell that you're trying to improve your public image and reputation. As you know, i spoke to you through email on the issue; and just to let everyone know here, you were straightforward and seemed concerned with my concern. Hopefully i'll get it monday since i didn't get it friday or today(saturday). Oh, and could you get me that tracking #(you know my email) monday just in case...thanks again :)

This is a great thread... I don't mean to sound like an *** here but, how is selling something on ebay that you don't actually have in your possession good business? If Cam had to order the header from Hot Shot after payment was received, the buyer could of gotten the item himself and cut out the middle man. I do believe to sell items on ebay, you have to actually have them. You could be reported on that end... What if you weren't able to obtain the item? You would be in the same situation there... Why are you applauding poor business? This is not the right thing to do...

It's called dropshipping and alot of businesses work this way. Not everyone has the kind of money needed to keep a massive inventory of parts, not to mention the cost of storage space for the parts.

It's only called dropshipping if you are an official distributor of the said item/s. To you, I, and most importantly ebay its called possible fraud. If you were a distributor of the item, you would be nearly guaranteed to get one on hand, however thats not the case. No one is asking to keep a large inventory on hand. On ebay, however you must own what you are selling. You cannot sell things on ebay that you don't actually have. How would you like it if I threw up an auction for an HKS GCC/VPC combo, and not actually had the items? Then you found out later that I don't actually have the items and I promise to get them to you, after I have cashed your money order/checks/ect...Well guess what, HKS no longer makes the VPC and I can't get it for you. No, this is money. This is business. There are no friendships here. Ordering the part from whomever after the payment was received on an ebay auction is completely unacceptable.

I'd just like to say I know Jon personally, he's been helping me for quite a while on my 240/Skyline project, he's honest, a great guy and it's too bad that *** kissing people on the board who have a habit of screwing people over are favored over the good ones. I heard about Cameron Knight LONG before NICO and everything I heard was iffy, I certainly know I wouldn't trust him in a business deal and it's too bad to see that the mods have their heads stuck someplace preventing their view of all sides. It's a sad day as well when fellow Nissan lovers bicker like little babies instead of enjoying the collective knowledge we all share. Lift Jon's ban, quite the crybaby attitudes, and let's move on with life.

Ummm...you seem to be the only one really bickering childishly here, and Jon's ban was lifted long ago at Cameron's request. And remember the forum rules, only people who have delt with a business should talk about them, all else is heresay and bs.

On the Ebay topic, I haven't read the rules recently, but I would be suprised if dropshipping is not allowed. I suppose it's possible though, just not a well inforced rule because I have dealt with a few different people who dropship through ebay.

Hah, no I couldn't make it through the whole thing. Ah well... no, I don't think dropshipping is allowed on Ebay, but they don't enforce it too well, a lot of companies importing clips and cars do it often with no reprocussion.

Why is this thread still going on?

I can only admire camerons willingenss to put himself out here and to converse with folks that obviously just enjoy b.itching.

Any one more b.itching in this thread, by non customers and its locked.

The situation with Cam and the RBs is over for the most part. Definitely over enough for all the rest of us to get on with our business, so let's do just that. No need to bring up old demos to try to keep ruining someone's rep.

Not like it was ours to begin with, but who cares....
