I thought with Pro kit, you don't need camber kit.rjdmmfl1 wrote:Just got mine aligned yesterday at Firestone... 169.99 with lifetime free alignments for the life of the vehicle!
And yes, he said that to correct it back to factory specs, we need a camber kit! Mine was/is off also, and so is everyone else's that has the Eibachs, whether they know it or not!
That was the word I heard too when the group buy was going on. WTF !!desertdragon wrote:

I'll upload my alignment printout when I have a chance.. but it looks pretty much like LBC'sdesertdragon wrote:

Mike... i dont know if id call them a "speed shop" if it takes 4 hours to install the springs... maybe a "scalp shop"... if they are charging you by the hour...mhm1170 wrote:I talked to my local (bay area) speed shop today about dropping my A/C 3.5 with eibach springs and he also mentioned that a camber kit is needed. I did not agree with him because of what I read here on the forum, but he disagreed with me and said that he called eibach to confirm, and YES a camber kit is needed to do the job right. As for the labor...........4 hours to install the springs (1 hr each spring) I thought that was a bit high but he seemed to know about the camber kit needed, so I now trust them and will have them lower my A/C for me. He also mentioned that there will be no compression on my stock shocks/struts with the drop and he guarantees there work. Customer satisfaction!................. Yeh baby thats what I like. I also will have them install my Greddy Ti-c system as soon as more come into the country (6-8 weeks).
As far as alignment,...... no reason to wait................ eibach springs do not need time to settle/break in, once again this coming from my local speed shop.

Obviously thats what he meant lol... i just had to comment when they quoted him 4 hours to do the install... maybe they meant you would need to leave it there for 4 hours... but i cant see how it could take 4 hours to complete the job.adidas2go wrote:I think speed shop refers to, "speed" in a performance element rather than time
Excellent point!D-Roll wrote:
A lil negative camber helps in cornering as well.
dont worry man...here in hawaii gas is the same price...mhm1170 wrote:I have called a few other places to have my eibach pro kit springs installed and they all seem to be between $400-550 includes alignment and camber kit. Everything is more expensive in the bay area, even at the gas pumps............. $3.85 gallon

I did notice that the printout on my alignment sheet said 2007 Altima... I heard that previously that a lot of companies didn't have the latest alignment info for the 2008 Altimas... but they did mine with the suspension change! And, Ican always go back and get it done for free... forever!!!! lolcuzzbubba420 wrote:Kyle, (or anyone) do you have any suggestions as to where I can get an alignment? I've tried Firestone but they are telling me they don't have specs on 08 models and they won't do it anyways since I've changed the suspension?
