Yeah man he just kept telling me that I've changed the suspension and he doesn't have "alignment specs" for that. I've e-mailed Kyle and he's doing some checking for me. I called them before installing my springs and they said no problem but then when I called to set the appointment today the guy shot me down.

EDIT: These people are crazy, I just spoke with Firestone in Lakeland FL and they said come on over they can do it with no problem but it will be with 2007 specs as you mentioned so I guess I'm good but he's calling nissan to confirm. (might be this hillbilly town I live in)

How many miles after you put the springs in do you need an alignment?

EDIT: A couple of members have had the eibach kit for a couple of months and I haven't seen anyone post about inner tire wear so I dunno.

Yea, Eibach used my car for the prototype. Many thousand miles/months later, no sign of inner tire wear....

The numbers on the readout sheet provided aren't going to make a significant wear on the tires, unless proper rotation is not utilzed. .1 degree off on the right rear and .8 off on the left. When you start getting off by more than 2 degrees is when you need to start worrying.

Also guys, let's remember... all of these specs are for the 2007 NIssan Altimas... which means these are the specs for the 2007 NIssan Altima Sedan .. therefore, they may actually be within the normal specs for the Altioma Coupe! just an idea...

Anyways the camber is off (probably why i dont rub, and im not so sure i want to correct it)...

I have attached the form he gave me... Im not really sure what it all means... but the top of my wheel is tilted too far tward the inside of the car

He essentially told me this will cause no issues other than tire wear.. but just an FYI for you guys... Same issues with others?
Ive done alignments in the past for Goodyear and according to that print out the fronts are within spec other wise the number would be red. like it is on the rear readings It looks like the rears are already specd out to have 1.1 neg rear camber the left being out -.8 and the right -.1or.2 from spec. expect wear from that left rear, if mines out like yours I'm going to have my tech adjust it back to within spec as far as the fronts I ll see what my front readings are and adjust from there. Up to 1degree negative camber is an acceptable amount no more I will be getting mine aligned shortly I have been looking at my tires every week since I installed my springs and I dont see any abnormal wear as of yet. Its been about 6 weeks. I have Ingalls kit in hand and will be installing and aligning it soon

and regardless of what you've been told any modification to your suspension is going to affect your alignment especially dropping your car.

If you dropped your car expect to have it aligned and possibly camber kit installation and adjustment

Hope this helps those of you with doubt hope this helps

Ok so I'm confused. I went to get my alignment and everything was supposedly ok. I leave and about 5 mins later I notice my steering wheel is about 1 inch off from being straight while driving but the alignment feels fine. So...... I take the car back and tell them it's not aligned correctly and they put it on the machine again. They finally finish and come back to me and say that's the closest they can get it to the stock specs and the steering wheel should be fixed? It wasnt, I spoke with the tech again and he said they will re-mount my steering wheel so it will match the alignment because all the specs matched up!! Anyone else had this problem or have any clue what the heck happened?

Mine is the same way....It is off to the right by about an inch or so but still drives in a straight line with no irregular tire wear

You should take it back and have them re-do the alignment to straighten the wheel.. they either didn't see it, or someone was being lazy, but they should fix it without saying a word..

I gave firestone two tries at this until they told me they had to tear my steering wheel off and re-mount it. (that's when I called it quits) But, like D-Roll said the alignment seems to be good but the steering wheel itself is off a tad.

hate to be a smart @$$ here, but yeah...there's about 1.5" drop in the front and about a 1" drop in the rear in terms of comparing to stock height

now...we can take it one step farther. If you are wondering what kind of effect it has where the driver sits...or about the middle of the car, than we can use some good old trig, mr. pythagorus, and soh-cah-toa to figure it out. I'll spare you all the math junk...but it's about 1.2" drop in actual height at the driver

you mean further... farther refers to physical distance, while further refers to depth!

Well, just traveled down to Ft. Lauderdale and my alignment is not OK. Since the wheel is crooked if I let go and the wheel level's out to straight the car will cross three lanes of traffic to the right by itself. IT DROVE HORRIBLE!! I think I'm going to check with a performance shop out by d-roll cus my car is driving like crap at high speeds and I feel a lot of counter pressure on the wheel. (as if it wants to pull right hard, not all the time but some)

I lowered mine myself last weekend and everything seems great. Steering wheel is straight, it drives straight and does not pull. I am going to wait till I get some time to get an alignment, no rush since all seems to be well.
