does anyone know good cam specs for a turbo KA? I have looked online a bit and i only get info on what 'stage' the cam is. What about actual numbers? In my case i plan to run a t3/t4, .70ar compressor, 63 exhaust. I want 400+ hp range with great top end. I am currently looking at a set of crower cams--no stage but here are the numbers i was given:duration:262 deg. int/exh,lift .397 int/exh,agressive but good idle. Any opinions on these specs or if i should go with a different grind for my needs?? any opinions are appreciated. also, on a totally diff note, who is in charge of deleting threads here??

Cool, welcome to KAT. Got any pics of the 510? Thats one of my favorite cars. I've always wanted to tub one out and make it a track killer.

sorry no pics yet. car is still pretty much a shell. just the engine has been done which u have prolly already seen in another post(i think its in to crack or not to crack, that is the question). if not i will post it when i get the project presentable. i do plan to eventually do a back half on the car(ford 9 in narrowed with 12in wide rims) or a jaguar rear end. we will see, first things first.

Look for the guy who's gayer than a bag of d!ck, if you want to know who's in charge.

Like I always say, you're not gay if you're the pitcher.

No, only the catcher is gay.

It's like saying, I'm not gay, but my boyfriend is.

I'm not GAY a$$ I'm just Bi-Curious!!!!!!!!!!

Ace, this isn't the typical tech forum bro. I like to keep it loose...we have a good time beating each other up. But if you need answers, this is the place to be.

Like phonewatch...

EDIT: WD, (sorry about the jack) do you know if you can weld stainless to mild steel if using Argon to shield? I am trying to add a flex section to keep my SSAC from cracking.

BTW, ace, given your linked post. If anyone hates on a clean 510/KA-t I will turn them into a catcher so fast you will see the stock of Preparation H go through the roof! The 510 with a KA-t is a ****ing masterpiece! Good work.

I don't know how reliable the weld is, but I've done it before and they stick pretty good. I welded a chrome tip to mild steel and stainless to mild steal, both on his FWD truck, no problems to date and that was 2 years ago.

100% correct on the 510+KAT=Hot, The VH would be a tad better. I wonder if it would fit....?
