Car: installing stereo systems and minor performance upgrades

Post

I'm trying to find out how many people from the St. Louis metropolitan area are on these forums and would be intrested in doing a local meet or just get together and hang out and show our cars, possibly try to start up a local nissan club or branch of nico. I know theres afew of you out there so post up on this thread. Also not sure how many of you are familiar with Gateway raceway in Granite city.. Tuesdays nights for 15 bucks you can take your car down the 1/4 mile all you want. And finally To all nissan owners in Toronto i'll be headed up your way in July or August for home audio installation training so if anybody would feel like meet up in the Richmond hill area hit me up.

Seacrest out. and Zenki Pride Worldwide

yea, next weekend i get my clutch fixed, we didnt get hail in ofallon (thank god i live ina trailor park) and dont have the luxury of a garage.... but a funnel cloud passed right over my work yesterday..... really did look like we were gonna get hit.... but i gotta put 1000 miles on my new clutch before i ride it hard at all.... so ima be drivin all around for a while (i put 700 miles on it in 2 weeks and i work 9 miles farther then i used to work at that time) so im sayin 1000 miles in a matter of at least a week and a half

where are you going to be getting the pistons for it? i've heard bumping the displacement up .2 liters or so but .4-.6 that seems like alot would be badass to have a ka28de. Are you planning on staying N/A or eventually going turbo?

ahhh, it depends.... prolly turbo with the de... thats what ive been planning.. but if everything goes like i dream and me rebuilding this motor and boring it out to whatever i can get it too gives me enouf hp to where i could possibly beat turbo'ed cars then ill prolly stay n/a for the sake of getting to say my n/a 240 can beat ur turbo'ed rsx any day... lol, i dunno where i would get pistons and alot of parts, thats all for me to do research when i learn more about engines...

I live in Marissa which is 30 miles south east of STL. Where is the best place to get a Sr20DET swap done around here?

Up in fairview heights there's rush hour motorsports. I know they can get and install them. Also over in St. Charles- St. Peters, missouri area theres Adrenaline motorsports. they have a website and seem like they know what they're doing.

What type of engines do you guys have in your 240sx's and is it worth doing the SR20DET swap or going KA24DET?

hey guys im new and from stl, i currrently have a 98 acura cl but it was totaled due to a ****load of hail damage.

my plan was to buy a 240 and do a sr20det swap with a few goodies... anyone have any fav shops to recomend for the install, i have neither the tools nor the space, as well as any smog suggestions... thats the only thing im worried about.

this is good there's more of us popping up in and around st louis. Nopi is coming to gateway infew weeks the 24th i believe. I would say we could all meet up there but i'll be in toronto. Maybe after i get back(aug11th) we could all meet over here, decent driveway and garage space, or find a weekend night and a nice big, empty parking lot and have ourselves alittle fun.
