What color should I paint my calipers. On my NA-Z which was pearl white I painted them rally red and they looked hot. But that was pearl white with black rims. I have a Cherry Red TTZ with Stock Chrome Rims.

Old NA-ZNA AgainTTZTTZ Again

black.

they don't stand out and look goofy.

no caliper painting unless they're MASSIVE Wilwood or Brembo.

Yea I'm thinking of going with that. But I'm not removing the calipers to do it. Had some bad experiences with brake lines =[. BTW 300ZX's front calipers are huge 4 piston calipers, IMHO they are pretty much big brembos. They look it. I'm leaning towards black at this point.

get some braided lines.

it's no big deal to put them on...just gotta bleed the system..might as well change out the fluid anyway.

Black. Definately black.

And to paint them well, you pretty much have to remove them. You just basically twist it off with a wrench...

And they're stock brakes for a 3000+ lb car. They aren't really that massive...sorry man.

You don't think the bright red will look odd against the darker cherry red of the car? If not I'll strongly reconsider..

i don't think red would clash well with the color of the body. i still say black, but then again i'm not into brake calipers that stand out. black is subtle, but still looks nice, and the sanded/painted lettering is enough accent to finish off the look.

Paint them bright red then write "Brembro" on them with a sharpy. That way people will mistake them for Brembos and want to be your friend!

OR leave them stock, and use that time and money to drive to the dealership to buy more lugnuts....

The first one will give more of a performance gain though...

You could try to color match them with your paint. If you did that you might as well do the lettering too.

But before you do anything like that, I would concentrate on getting some lug nuts. Driving around with missing lugs is just stupid not to mention dangerous for you and the people around you.

Wow I really didn't think I'd have to address that guys come on. The pic was taken as I was putting the wheels on.. I have all of the damn lugs. Honestly I didn't think I'd have to say that.

Right now I'm leaning towards black either masking off the letters and keeping them stock silver, or painting them white or silver, matching cherry red seems too iffy and candy red might clash.

Just paint them black then sand off the letters. Easy as pie!

Pink with silver letters would be sweet

That's what we'll end up doing on Stephanie's 240sx atleast zerothread?id=346521

But pink isn't really a Z color or a guy color so scratch that lol

Why not black with red lettering? Best of both choices.
