That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. Thank you California for not exceeding my expectations.

Ah, the myriad of stupid ideas coming from that bunch of geniuses...

Don't they generate enough $ off registrations?

When you've screwed up your budget so bad you have to lay the expense on other people, maybe some house-cleaning is in order.

DOOD!!! Vermont has gone up a ridiculous amount for registrations. I remember when I started driving that reg for a year with a vanity was $28. Now it's $98. What are we getting for all that extra money?

Socialism works great until you run out of other people's money to spend.

So I guess now people have something new to distract them other than texting. That's all we need here in Cali more inattentive drivers.

It is nothing more then another proposal...

And not even a proposal to use them, a proposal to research using them. Actually a proposal to begin to research them.
AZhitman wrote:Ah, the myriad of stupid ideas coming from that bunch of geniuses...
f*** serious. If only my state could do something WORTHWHILE. Like spending a million or so building bridges for squirrels.

At least our dumb ideas are just PROPOSALS by wackos. Dumb s*** in your state actually goes through.

Actually, I think that whole thing tanked, if I remember correctly.

I don't even understand why they thought this was a good idea. They'd cost a buttload to make (compared to sheet metal plates), they would break, people would steal them, "hack" them, and I don't think many people are willing to make their car a rolling billboard. California has yet to break its reputation.....

What tanked?

AZ's brilliant squirrel bridges?
As of the 17th, according to ABC news everything is a go.

I don't think so.

But lets not get off topic. This thread is about desperately searching for flaws in California by ignoring the fact that nutty stories are little more then proposals, then over reacting about things that have nothing to do with you.

Sorry. CA still holds the title. :rotfl

Let's also remember that it was the Obama Administration who proposed this nonsense. Members of Congress who voted for the stimulus package voted for these squirrel bridges, which doesn't say too much for those in majority leadership that put the money for squirrels in the stimulus bill.

Oh, and keep me posted on how the bill to spend $200,000 in stimulus money for "gang member tattoo removal" in So Cal plays out... :poke:

Just... terrible. California has a $19bill hole to plug; maybe they should consider putting an end to entitlements.

Would it be "piling on" if I pointed out the $259,000 foreign bus wheel polishers purchased by the State of California?

If i lived in cali and this became an option, there is no way i would ever stop for more than 4 seconds... An ad for hair growth, prostate exams or the newest episode of Sex in the City will not show up on my car.
