DOOD!!! Vermont has gone up a ridiculous amount for registrations. I remember when I started driving that reg for a year with a vanity was $28. Now it's $98. What are we getting for all that extra money?

They'd cost a buttload to make (compared to sheet metal plates), they would break, people would steal them, "hack" them, and I don't think many people are willing to make their car a rolling billboard. Let's also remember that it was the Obama Administration who proposed this nonsense. Members of Congress who voted for the stimulus package voted for these squirrel bridges, which doesn't say too much for those in majority leadership that put the money for squirrels in the stimulus bill.

Oh, and keep me posted on how the bill to spend $200,000 in stimulus money for "gang member tattoo removal" in So Cal plays out...
