dr!ft wrote:Whoot! I love Mountain View Drive. Such a fun road. And yeah, Hwy 1 is incredibly scenic. When we went over to the coast on the 13th, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. It was so beautiful! Eastside Road out of Hopland is pretty fun as well. Another great one is Mountain House Road (I think...). Starts in Hopland, then continues to Hwy 128.

Is that the same mountain house that is near Tracy and Brentwood?? If so, you should swing by the Byron airport. I am there every weekend and I could show you the true meaning of adrenaline and speed. Talking bout doin 120 mph, without a car :P.

Certain parts of SoCal are really going up. Usually the really expensive area's are like Orange County, but here in Riverside my mom bought a house for $125k in 2000 and now it is worth over $250k ! It just keeps getting more crowded.

No, the one I'm talking about is a road off Hwy 101 at Hopland, a little ways north of Santa Rosa. But 120mph does sound like fun! You have an airplane or something?

:withstup That would be a great idea. Rent a camping spot, with some grills, maybe bring a few boats to wakeboard / ski / whatever. I might have one boat that I might be able to bring. It would be awesome!

Homes here in OC are nuts, depending on where you are. Tustin/Irvine area are ridiculously priced. But hey, to pay that much for a nice safe area isn't that bad to pass up. As far as buying a home, mortgage rates seemed to be at a good low for now (I'm an accountant for a mortgage company), so it's actually a good time to buy a home.
