Maz, that is Gabby's car, if you didn't read. So sad!

Gabby, you leaving us? Spending too much time in the G section?

lol his coilovers are a bit on low side....... his wheels kind of ripped his ABS harness out of his fender well. he spend all weekend rebuilding that mess.

I have a spare blank. that switch is lit as i have it wired to the battery to let me know when I shut the car off if it is still engauged. running my AC compressor w/ the car off is not fun when you want to turn it on again

always in my biz....

no heres the deal. the S13 is really clean as far as 240 go. It runs and is 1 of 3 I know of that actually runs with a CA in central florida. on the other hand there about 7 forsale right now that dont run..........

I want to sell this, get some nice wheels for the G and maybe some coils or spring/strut combo . then I want to pick up a cheap shell and do it THE RIGHT WAY this time. I hate to rip out the interior and all the creature comforts I have assembled in this car. Couple that with the skills to make a non-running CA run....... it makes much more sense to sell this one and have want I really want. A TRUE TRACK CAR

hell a non running CA swap+shell locally rarely sees even 1000 bucks..... few hundred more MS and I can rebuild the CA for real power.

leave? I just got here..........

ps the G is taking alot of my attention. can you blame me? Its is a blast to drive and is far more comfy than the S13 ever was or will be. It really is a nice beater.(btw I got kind of booted from the G section for refering to the G as my beater )

so the boys who are expecting my departure............. the best offer Ive seen was 3k ......... dont expect me going anywhere anytime too

installed the KYBs and Ebachi springs. I told the BF based on the things he has broken on this car, to just sit back and watch.

managed to install the rears w/ even removing the rear wheels.

the front KYBs had a bent stud . had a devil of a time "encoraging" them into place.

going to use the torque wrench and install the lugs back on tomorrow and it should be all sweet.

PS is there an easy way to put those stupid brace line clips on? never screwed with them before, but they were a pain in the a**.....

Brake line clips? My dear, that is what zip ties are for!

Glad to hear you have no plans of departure.

lol we put them in with zip ties, but I though it looked so ghetto. I was going to take it apart if there was an easier way. my Zip tie quota is going up day by day.

I have in the past run it through my door hinge and under my hood. going to tuck it and make it look clean.

I think those are her lowered pics.

Those brake line clips should just hammer on there. They are kind of a pain to get started, but that's it.

I like to use a rubber mallet so that WHEN I whack my hand, it doesn't hurt as much.

small update

Think my wideband is fubar. Emailing PLX for more info.

in other news, (quote from another forum, made by my BF)
zoom zoom maz6;167797 wrote:so I was at work and they had been tearing down a whiteline Semi for what seems like forever. It hasnt run since I worked there as the crack pot mechanic installed a HG wrong forever ago and they finally want it off the lot.

they grab a few scraps off it and was about to take it to the scrap yard.......... I watched them load it on the truck and took a peak under the bonnet......

I saw something I wanted and asked if I could have it. granted it as about 40 or so Lbs, which would have yeild about 3 bucks. The boss said if you want it, its yours.

Think it is a bit too big for the CA........... but who knows, steve already put a bid in for it to be put on his mach 1.

twin scroll and V-band dump. The best part, is there is no shaft play.going to figure out the A/R specs and suchh this weekend, Im too tired right now. Think I will clean it and polish it up real nice. May sell it or trade it for parts for one of the car.

Hey, when you get more info on that turbo, e-mail me please! Very interested in taking that off your hands, depending on the specs. Thanks!
