are the 370cc injectors the same impedance as the KA24e injectors.

basically can I just drop them in, and plug in, then tune on safc, no resistor needed.

ThanksSteve

They're not.....Ca injectors are low impedance

you can use the safc with any injectors. but you'll need a resistor pack because of the different impedence

so what injectors can i use with 8:1 FMU on with 255 fuel pump, im going to use stock injectors with FMU but when i get bigger injectors i need to know which ones with plug in and work without modifcations...and the safc when i get bigger injectros and sale or get rid of FMU

I don't think any injectors will just plug and play for the SOHC. At least not without the resistors.

erm. my understanding of it is that the CA injectors are actually high impedance, but are wired for low from the factory, making them a direct drop in for the SOHC. Or maybe Im just remember something very...very wrong.

erm ok. found something saying someone tested them at 2.4Ohm...that being low impedance. hmm....I know someone very familiar with CAs..I'll double check with him.

ah im 95% sure they fit the fuel rail and all that just fine, just the impedance is an issue. Still havn't been able to contact that guy tonight. I'll get back to you whenever I do.

Use the FMU for 8lbs, which will work GREAT for low boost don't let anyone scare you, then save up and buy the following items. Which you'll need eventually if you want to run alot of boost. This is fuel only mind you.

1, SAFCII2, 300ZX MAF-your stock MAF is spent at more then 8lbs3, A high volume fuel rail4, New Injectors, say 42lbs or bigger. Depends on what fuel pressure you want to run.

ive already have the SAFC and injectors..now i need to get a better MAF...how hard is the different MAF to wire up?? just need to know if the injectors will need resistors or not!! the injectors are CA18DET 370cc...and when would i need to upgrade fuel rail? ive never heard anyone doing on there setup.

The CA18DET Injectors are the same as the RB20DET which runs 270cc high impedance. Which also happens to already be installed in your car if I'm not mistaken...Looks like your using the FMU for a tad longer then you thought.

Correction-The CA18DE injectors are 270cc high impedance, the CA18DET injectors are 370cc High Impedance.

The RB25DET and SR20DET both use the sidefeed 370's, again high impedance.

i have read up and study alot about the CA18DET injectors and so far everything ive read, it says they are 370cc Top Feed...my KA24E are 270cc Top Feed..the only thing i dont know for sure if which is high or low impedence...but i do believe CA are 370.

I think they are low impedance.

Sorry, I totally looked at the wrong graph. I was looking at CA18DE injectors which are the 270's. The DET's are 370's and are high impedenace and should be a drop in replacement. I know for a fact that the RB20DET uses high imp and we used CA injectors as an upgrade to those.

The only injectors I'm aware of that are low imp made by Nissan in the 180/Skyline world are the GTR 444cc low imp injectors.

Yes these injectors will work, they are high impedence, and they will fit the SOHC fuel rail. There ya go

so both are HIGH IMPEDENCE?? and will be a direct non modified replacement? Thats awesome...just need to tune them with SAFC to run same, right??

I own a ca18det s13 and my factory injectors read 2.3-2.4 ohms. These are low imp! The CA18det engine harness has a resistor pack on them.

Oh ****.....that's right. The harness does have a resistor pack in it. I completely forgot about that. I'm an idiot

Jesus...so much misinformation floating around on the damn internet. Yet another reason I buy NEW.

I aplogize for the garbage in this thread. I'm not gonna say whther they are high-low-medium side or top feed...lol.
