So the 180/Silvia ECU requires High Imp Injectors, But Nissan installed Low Imp with a resistor pack? WTF were they thinking. I'm gonna forward this to a buddy in Japan. Just to get a subject matter expert on hand.

CA injectors, turbo 370s at least need the resistor. You can splice it into the existing loom the same way you do when throwing GT-R squirts on an RB20. I'm not sure whice stateside engines come equipped with resistors you can cannibalize though.

How is everybody anyway? Love the new look

If you have the CA resitor or any Nissan resistor just splice it into the KA harness.

Sorry I'm in Japan, I have no idea where you can get one locally. I know a 300ZX VG30DETT has a resitor. You could score one of those and just hook up four of the wires.

this is getting to be too much of a hassle..but it needs to be done...how do i know what resistors will work or not?? how do i determine what size resistors to use? i dont wanna put too much resistance or not enuff...can i buy resistors at Autozone or something like that???

A freind of mine wires in raw electronics-store type resistors in. That is past my level of expertise. Go here and ask these guys.http://www.rceng.comThey clean all my injectors and are very knowledgable.

I think you can use a misu eclipse/galant resistor for this, but I need backup on that. I know you can use them on honda's for sure so I don't see why not on a nissan.

It's just a big chunk of ceramic, it would probably work.

Thanks for the help Mike...

We're all doing pretty good here as far as I know. Greg and I are getting ready to hit SEMA in Nov. That should be a blast. I'll send you all the pics.

you can just wire the resitors in line on the injector wires to the ECU.

but on another note, rx7 460cc top feed high impedance are just as abundant and cheap, and you will have no problems with fuel for <10 psi (this list of possible problems includes running injectors at too high of a duty cycle)

well i have the 370cc..maybe i can sale...i dunno..ill look up those 460cc..if those are high impedane and mine are high..then i dont need any resistors right?? thanks for the head up
