Yah Maxx, IMHO you're barking up a better tree now. It seems nearly impossible for the turbo blades to make it that far given how light they are and how many turns they would have to make. I doubt they could just ride the air current like a piece of tissue paper. Most likely they would hit the IC core and settle in bottom of the hot end side. I bet you can shake them out if you try. It seems more likely that you lost oil pressure or something blew the motor and the turbo.

Good luck.

i never lost oil pressure at all. i have an elect. oil gauge that i always monitor close. It may not have been the turbo blades.... IDK but i will find out when i get it apart this weekend. If it was the machine shop's fault i will be heading to portland for a new motor.....

The tech's i work with said it could be improper installation of the rings...possible they ****ed something. There should NOT be any DEEP verticle scratches in the cylinders.....

like i said... i did not build the bottom end myself... only the head and timing gear so i have no clue as to what they may have done to it.

i pressurized the FMIC from the cold side to the hot side and NO pieces came out of it. Not sure where they are now

Pressurizing wouldn't do anything to get the pieces out. You would be lucky to blow a ping pong ball out like that. Unless you take the IC out, turn it over and shake it I can almost gaurentee they are still in there.
