LOL, yah I feel you, ford is EXTREMELY generic. They dont have any soul, any style, any anything. There was a time when they did though, but alas that was many many years ago, before I and many of us where even born. I dont wanna turn this into a domestic vs import debate, but geez, you cant even claim to be patriotic (as if thats something you wanna claim in this country) by supporting the domestic market, because the cars are frikkin made in mexico. More 'imports' are made here then domestics. Talk about ironic.

and I dont know who said something about the mach1 not being much of a turner.... what muscle car was? ;)

Wanna see a visual upgrade for a comaro? Well atleast if you ask me, ANYTHING will make that ugly car look better, including this.

true muscle wasn't but many consider the Shelby Cobra to be a muscle car as well as his Mustangs. I said the 429 wasn't much of a turner due to the larger engine. The Cobra and GT350 were however some track terrors in their day.

so was the 302DZ Camaro Z/28, 7k+ redline on a destroked 350 is kinda scary for the time. or period.

how the hell did this become a domestic debate anyway?

let it be known I think bcuz sucks for displaying that Redneck Ferrari with a busted nose:D

I still love those cars despite the 350 TPI only being auto and having all kinds of problems.

who knows ;)...

I think it was when someone brought up a probe.. what where we talking about in the first place? coupe or hatch? I say you hold your horses, and really take a look at both cars (not just hte cars for sale.. but pictures on the net of various coupes and hatches.)

If you ask me, you just need to do WAY too much to a hatch to make it look good. A coupe starts out pretty sweet, and with a silvia front end, anything else is just icing on the cake. However a fastback needs nothing short of a widebody kit, silvia front end conversion, sileighty rear lights, and a lot more. Personally Im not into body kits and stuff too much, thats why I like my coupe, I dont need all that, Ill be content with a front end conversion as far as looks go for now.

looks are a personaly preference really

I think what really matters is the shape the body is in, interior, how it runs, and what your plans for it are.

post more of what you want and not what we think you want is gonna show up.

and drive both cars.

Ok. I admit, I haven't done any homework, and I was hasty to make comments about trim levels. But I still stand by what I said about hating them for the commerciality of it. As far R35 goes. I was perusing something somewhere that referred to the new skyline as the R35. I assumed that was an accurate statement. So, my bad. I was referring to the new G35/Skyline. The escort analogy is a biased and unfounded statement. A good example of what I was talking about with the whole commercial aspect is this: I know, through a friend, a guy that bought a Roush, but calls it a "Froush". That's where I got the word "Froush" and he apparently doesn't even know what the car is called. I was also under the assumption that you could get Roush and Saleen through the Ford dealer. I know they are aftermarket, but I thought they were offered as packages you could buy for your prospective Mustang. I thought that if you wanted that, they'd get it done for you before you ever drove it. But I also didn't do my research on that before making that comment, so I stand corrected. I know what you mean too Smith. For one I love ninjai. Two, I hate people that think the skyline is the ****, or the RX7 cuz of Initial D. I met a guy about 2 weeks after he had a skyline brought over by motorex. He was acting smug and tough too, I wanted to run him over. I wouldn't have minded stealing his car either, but still, He was under the assumption that Skyline= "I'm a badass." I hate that. PEACE. Tek.

wait till he gets pwned by an '00 Cobra R on the track, assuming the wanker takes it there.

actually, when you think about it, there's 3 different G35's right now, 2 door, 4 door, and the 4 door AWD...

cars get a bad rep due to the owners usually

really it's amazing the Mustang is still around, it's come down to the 13th hour so many times with that car.... (I believe Ford had the notion to make it FWD and call it the Probe at one point)

The Camaro could've been around longer if GM wasn't so damn lame (yeah, they have crappy build quality too, but strange enough nobody ever trashes them...lest we forget they piss on the names and legacies of their own products)

it wasn't easy being an American sports car for a long time:(

or a sports car in America for that matter, and it looks like that's gonna happen again soon.

but yeah, more info on the two ACTUAL cars in question.
