Well to make a long story short I hit the curb with my rear wheel...

I have to replace my lower control arm... A friend suggested that I replace the bushings at the same time. Is there anywhere I could get a kit with a complete set of the polyurethane bushings?

I'll have pictures of teh JDM tyte dmg soon!

Do you want a complete set for your whole car or what?

<---Check them. http://www.enjukuracing.com has seperate bushings. If you call them, they can probably get you everything you need. Also http://www.pdm-racing.com has bushings and Cory is very friendly to deal with.

WTF is a curb and how did you hit it with your rear wheel?

Seriously.. must have been screwing around. We all know that you have to drive RWD cars backwards so that the driving wheels are in the front (duh)..

UR JUST A NEWBIE THAT DRIVES FORWARD LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

PDM or Enjuku :)

PDM is canadian, and Enjuku sends u a stikka that you have to put on your car or you'll die.. I guess it's a toss up

(Jokin - PDM & Enjuku are awesome - but I LOVE GETTING CANADIAN CHANGE THAT LOOK LIKE QUARTERS INSTEAD OF REAL QUARTERS BACK BECAUSE THEY WORK SO ****ING WELL AT THE LAUNDRYMAT. MAKE UR DAMN CHANGE THE SAME SIZE & WEIGHT AS OUR QUARTERS IF UR GOING TO DISPOSE OF THOSE METALLIC DISCS.)

Yours Truely,The Laundrymat Nazi

Enjuku our sponsor carries it.I have the complete Energy kit (all suspension parts that take bushings, tie end rods, rear spindles, sway bars, ball joints rear subframe aseembly) installed on my S13.

The install was a lot of work for 2 of my friends when I was out of town..:DIf your old bushings are stuck, you need a special tool to pull from the rear spindles and one extra part I forgot. we took it to a shop and they charged us $70 for that

I think its 20 book hours at a shop, to install all new bushings everywhere if you hire a shop. Many PPL dont realize how many bushings a car really takes.

But you dont have to install all, if you dont want to some just do the most critical bushings.

And tell Enjuku you are from NICO!

Fred..:)

PS: My car handles AWESOME right now. all my handling and stability problems at speed were completely fixed with this mod.

Thanks for the reply PalmerWMD. I was considering doing this mod by myself, but I wanted to see what was involved, so I didn't find myself sitting in a sea of suspension parts and no clue what to do!

PDM rules! I got my bushings and short throw from them, and when one of my bushings tore during the install I asked them during the short throw purchase to toss in a replacement for the ripped bushing and they did it for free! They also sent me candy! Canadian m&m's or as they call them, smarties!

When I use an internet order form I make sure to write it in.But I prefer to call and say "Thank you for sponsoring our club"

Not all of our sponsors offer Nico discounts as some of thier margins are quite thin in order to be very competive here.Others do offer discounts but you gotto mention you are from here and saw them here, to get it.

Otherwise they wont know to give it to you.

In my experience even if you dont get a discount you tend to get a little extra personal attention when you make a point of identifying yourself as a member or even "Thank you for sponsoring us".

20 hours to put all the bushings in?? what bushings are the critical ones to install?? And what special tool do i need?? Yea, i'm planning on installing them while i'm changing the struts /springs /stocks with some help from a fellow nico member. He only has 1 day to help me... so i gotta know all the tips. And any other bushings the kit doesn't include??

wow, a lot of people like these bushings, huh?i guess i'll have to be the only one who says "no."there are ups and downs. UPs great feel, super cornering, almost 0% energy loss in suspension, fwd-less wheel hopDOWNsfeel every freaking thing on the road, loads of time involved, increased road noise, and they eventually break/crack

but thats just me, and im a lazy bastard
