So, the Libertarian candidate I was going to vote for (before I switched to Bush) did a courageous thing today. He got arrested trying to get into the debates:http://www.badnarik.org/newsfr...=1346I almost want to go down there and offer him some doughnuts and another campaign donation.

Bush, meanwhile, is staying on some lake property 1/3 mi down the road from my house. I wondered why the hell there were so many police blockades at every corner. This one guy owns a crapload of land and has a lake all to himself in the middle of the neighborhood. A couple square miles are pretty well blocked off.

Plus, this part of town is 90% pro-Bush, and almost all of those pro-Bush people gave the maximum donation to his campaign, according to the FEC. (The other 10% gave to Gephardt.) So he's sleeping among allies.

They did the motorcade very late at night (midnight-ish), which doesnt matter since West County is dead by 9:30 anyway.

Exactly why I havent taken any photos.

Oh yeah, this morning I went to a debate at the suggestion of my professor, featuring Bush and Kerry's economic policy advisers. It was too short (one hour, but I guess it -was- 7:30am), the Kerry guy (a former Clinton official) sucked up all the time for himself and didnt provide enough time for counterpoints and questions from the audience, though he carried himself quite well. I wish I could recall their names... its on video, and I left the camera in the car.

You'd think for a debate focused squarely at business/economics majors, they'd go into greater detail instead of regurgitating the same crap and warped statistics Bush and Kerry use. What a huge disappointment.

I watched some of it on C Span earlier...

I'm anxious to hear this master plan of Kerry's...

the man seems to be all talk, he's well spoken, but does so in a shallow manner, he doesn't seem to go very indepth on anything...

Same story for Al Gore, alot of talk, no actual plan.

They used 'fuzzy math' to take actual data from the Census and GAO to come up with new numbers. Theyre all bastards, and I could have slept in Friday morning instead.

And its nice having Ladue Road opened up again. No more cops and secret service swarming the hood like we're in lockdown.

I'd vote for a political party named TEAM PIMPCAKES. Who wouldnt? Greg #2 could be chairman, and Howard Dean and the taco that poops ice cream from south park could be on the national ticket!

[Greatest taco ever, btw]

You know whats really funny. Mickey Mouse gets more votes than Ralph Nader. One of these days, we are gonna be in a heck of a pickle when that rat wins. I can see Pluto in the next VP debate in four years.

You know, the seceret service has a list of nuts they toss in jail every time the president goes on trips.

They just toss them in the can, and let them back out when the pres is gone. We had one around here they did that way every time the late Mr Regan came to the area.

Jesda, you could end up like that nut. If they would let us, we would take up a free Jesda fund.

We got nothing but love for you man!

alright i might get in trouble with this post or might start trouble either way moderators and admin... feel free to delete this. in order for Kerry, to do what he says he is going to do. Balance the budget and spend an additional 170-200 TRILLION dollars he will have to raise taxes. There is just no other way to spend that kind of money plus balance the budget. he says he can, but unless he has developed a way to grow money out of his bum, i dont see it happening. well thats my opion. im neither probush or prokerry, both have their ups and downs. lets try to stay nice. thanks
