most fast food places use a high-speed, super high-temp. Grill press. BK on the other hand use open flame, which is why their beef actually tastes grilled.
Yeah, sure, they might precook their patties on an open flame. But then they keep them in like a warming bay and when they need to be served they nuke them in the microwave to get them hot. At least that's how they do it around here.

It's kinda gross to me. I don't want a microwaved burger. And I know for sure Wendy's doesn't do that.

But I'll continue to eat both. I love fast food.

Aside: the best burgers are NOT cooked over an open flame. Skillet is the way to go, blasphemous as it is.

well i ain'ts no grilling buff, but my burgers come out rearry dericious by putting aluminum foil over the bars (no clue of proper term) and letting the burgers slightly marinate in chicken seasoning as they're being grilled.

^ I see you like your burgers juicy! lol. I find burgers to be best on a charcoal grill, no matter how they're cooked/seasoned.

I hate mint and serve ice cream as my job. Also, I think McFlurry-ish items are kinda lame. The Oreo McFlurry is okay though.

It doesn't look too bad. I think, as far as fast food, Sonic has the best ice cream.

what's the joint up in CT that steams burgers?

saw them on Man VS Food...looked so freakin' good.

also, grilled burgers are so so.

I like the smoky taste from charcoal or wood chips...but they're kinda crunchy or burned typically.
