...are you telling me that the McRib was bad? Is that what I'm getting from your response?

The McRib was and is disgusting. And what's worse is that......IT TASTES WORSE THAN IT LOOKS.

McDonalds is the WalMart brand of fast food. Not only the product, but the customers as well.

I'll take Wendy's please. :)

"Lawler", actually.

To echo what someone said up above, I really like KC-style BBQ, at least for "country style" (i.e. not baby back) pork ribs.

For Baby Backs, I want carolina vinegar-style. Texas does indeed own all things beef. For beef ribs, however, nothing tops eastern Georgia.

That would actually be the reverse echo (ohce?) of what I said. Nasty s***.

Central in Memphis has tasty ribs....I think it was about 20 bucks for a slab and sides.

I got mine half wet and half dry. all delicious.

@AZ89. somethng's seriously wrong if you think Wendy's is any better than McDonalds. Micky D's is the Wal-Mart brand and Wendy's is the Publix Brand. You'd think the publix brand is a little better because it's priced a little higher, but a side-by-side comparison will prove they're on the same level........plain ole crap.

Nope. You are totally off on this one.

The differences in their product should be enough to tell, and if not, then you should look at the meat and the quality of the vegetables.
McD's is famous for serving green tomatoes and cheap condiments. None of that is found in a Wendy's product. Also, the options you can get from Wendy's are far more desirable then whatever McD's is trying to push. I do like their new "angus" sandwiches, but I can't stand anything else, nor do they use anything of that quality on any of their other products...

Naw, Wendies is MUCH better then Mc. Donnalds.
I mean, they are both frozen meat designed to sell for the cheapest price at the highest profit margin and cooked with minimal effort... So you can't really expect them to be anything more then a fast food burger...

But Mc Donnalds is crap even for fast food. BK is too, Wendy's is actually reasonable quality (for fast food).

I was hoping you would actually read the prior post and extrapolate the meaning...

Besides, you can store meat at 34 degrees for a while without it spoiling.

when they can provide budget meat that is the cheapest possible with out offending customers.

Its high volume, low quality, low profit margin business... just with food.
They use the cheapest meat the can with out sacrificing their name.
They are a multinational fast food chain.

I don't know where you get the "low quality" thing from, but it just sounds like you're biased against it or something...

I don't find it low quality at all. If you're trying to make a point, hurry up and present something.

I find most fast food joints to be more or less the same... Burger King seems to do some different stuff though, their burgers (well, their cheaper burgers anyway) actually taste different (in a better way).

No point other then fast food just isn't high quality.

Not bias, I eat fast food all the time... If anything I don't really like high quality food. Wendy's is tasty, and I have and will eat much lower quality food.

But if you think fast food is quality meat, or quality preparation...don't even know what to say.

I do know that wendy's meat is not frozen because when i was in highschool and ate there 3 times a week, i would always see the meat trucks in the morning. However, from my standpoint, the only difference between the two is Wendy's has better chicken sandwiches. the rest just feels the same to me.

most fast food places use a high-speed, super high-temp. Grill press. BK on the other hand use open flame, which is why their beef actually tastes grilled.

From what I have been told by employees of fast food chains...
- Wendy's has the best quality of beef between McD's and BK
- Taco Bell the worst

Mcflurries are good.
Every other possible category goes to BK
- Cheap burgers: BK
- $5+/specialty burgers : BK
- Nuggets: BK
- Fries: BK
- Video games: BK

It is a no brainer.

^ That's pretty much how I feel. I dunno about nuggets though, I never get them. Also don't know about video games... never heard anything about any of that.
