I'm currently installing Tein S-techs on my S13, should I cut the stock bump stops down a bit to give the shocks more travel? If so, how much is recommended?

You must enjoy the bouncy bouncy of blown dampers. Where did you learn to build suspension, Honda fanboi school of suspension tuning?

Bump stops are designed into a vehicles suspension for a reason. Ive never installed S techs personally, but I would think that a small trim of the bump stops should give you plenty of travel. What do you plan to run for dampers? If you are reusing stock dampers I would suggest not cutting the stops at all, as they will be required to deal with the extra spring load.

Nothing fancy, just GR-2s. I erred on the side of caution and trimmed about a 1/4 off of the bump stops.
