It's been about a month and this is what I have done to it so far...

First took out the carpet to wash and paint:

Half way through:

This is what it looked like when I was done gutting the car:

This is where it sits currently:

Took the door panel off:

Sound deadner came out no problem just taking my fingers and just peeling it ff haha no dry ice or anything.

Sealed where my lights leaked prior:

Free wheels from work (I work at RimPro as a refinisher) their Maxxim made by Konig 17x7) I will be painting them bronze most likely I'll update with the whole process when we strip the wheels:

I'm looking to get my SR20DET sometime this week I was wondering which shop I should order from I was thinking either JSA or Osaka I heard good and bad things about Osaka so I don't know yet. I need some suggestions for parts so feel free to chime in and tell me what I am missing.

Probably going with these coilovers:

GReddy Ti-C exhaust:

ACT clutch:

GReddy Spec M:

Not sure which motor mounts to go with as of right now any suggestions?

If I'm over looking anything please tell me. I'm looking to order all the parts Monday night or Tuesday this coming week. Thanks!

Hey what did you use to make the carpet black, I assume it wasnt just rattle can black? Is it special fabric spray? Car looks good too.

I used flat black, 3-4 cans should be good to make it a really dark black.

I finished one wheel so far, 17x7 wheels are 225/45/17, going to get some 10mm spacers sometime later, no major updates to really come for now on, waiting on my birthday in January to receive 30k and put about 10k into the car. The colors Ferrari Yellow haha.

Wheels and refinishing were complimentary from work, I' ll some photos at work to showcase how we refinish wheels.

for some reason i like wheels when theyre yellow. depending on what kind and stuff.

and i dont think a 10mm spacer will be enough to save that sunken ship.

whoa, Yokota joined Nico a day before me.

Damn you and your easy sound dead material. Haha I had a couple guys from work help me out, but they were on the clock.... so they got paid. Not too shabby though. The carpet looks brand new! And fu*k what ya heard, yellow is the new flat black! I made that up and if my friends read this they may castrate me but those rims r nice! and the price was right. good show...514...

Some more pictures, ordering my engine tomorrow along with some 5spd swap parts, koyo rad, Stance GR+ Pro coilovers, and some other little things.

4x4 steeze

ShaneLach (on here)helped me with the battery relocation.

Anyone have an entire tag light assembly they can sell? My bracket rusted through and the bolts for the actual tag lights did as well so I tossed it.

NismoDriver240 is going to help out with the pull and swap

Order your motorset from JHOT. Search on NICO for some reviews and whatnot.

I already ordered my engine from Tiger Japanese and they are a pain in the fu.cking ***, I don't recommend them at all. I called and place an order Wednesday, they said it would ship out later that day but it didn't called back Thursday to see if it had shipped yet, it hasn't called back Friday and they tell me they don't have an ECU or wiring harness to sell but on Wednesday they said they did, so now I was contemplating on ordering it still from them engine only and sourcing my wiring harness and ecu elsewhere I should have just canceled my order. The guy there does not know how to add properly at all, they charged me 2300$ for a motorset that costs only 2278$ so they then deducted the harness and ecu for 400$ but I told him he did the math wrong and it should cost me only 1778 for the motor shipped but he tried to make me pay 1900$ so now he said I have to wait for a refund and they took 2300$ out of my account, fun fun fun.

Fans costed 295 with thermo controls, from 240sxMotoring.
