Hi all,We recently had a ton of snow this winter and my little 1990 240sx se was burried under 2 feet. I dug it out and turned her on and got to scrapping the windows. I then turned the wipers on and squirted some fluid to help take care of the ice and the wipers got hung on the piece of ice and wouldnt go back down. I manually moved them back and now they don't work at all. Any ideas?? I can still hear the motors moving but nothing happens. Also how can I access the motors?? Will accessing them have any affect on my windshield?? It is already slightly cracked (rock chips suck) and I would hate for it to spread. Thanks for all your help ahead of time.

I think there is one motor and it is right out in the open. you have two pivots and linkage. Im not sure what you have done. observe what the linkage is doing when motor is on. you may have disconnected the link from motor to first pivot. so, one link from motor to pivot and second link that connect two pivots. something like that. there is a picture of pivot in following thread. the links attach to ball on pivot quite easily . snap on.

Your description was right on. I had to take off the hood to get at the linkage and somehow it had seperated. I popped both wipers back onto the ball on the pivot and was good to go. Thanks for the great help.
