I can do $699 shipped on the stealth box. I do not carry Polk, but I can do you a couple better in either the JL Audio or Boston Acoustic components. How much are you looking to spend?

Yes, it is the enclosure on JL's website. It takes 4 days to get to me then directly shipped out to you.

As far as the components, I could do the Boston Acoustic Pro 60's for that price. They are amazing speakers....... probably my favorite of all time in that price range. They would be $449 shipped, they retail for $599.

toby, one more question, from a installer's point of veiw what would you do with the 6.3/4" speakers behind the seat on a 2007 350z? does boston make a 2-way that would make a difference back there or should i just leave it blank? the reason i'm asking is that, in my thinking, they serve a purpose being there or nissan would not have designed them into the car, any thoughts?

I would need full payment on the stealth box in order to place the order. You would receive it in about 8 business days after your payment.

I can do $489 shipped on the Pioneer 9800.

As far as the rears go, my customers always put "something" back there. Some just go with a cheaper version of whatever they put in the front doors. Some go with the same thing as what they put in the front doors. My good friend did Boston Pro 60's in his 350z in the front and rear. He also did the stealth box and JL amps......... it absolutely blows you away.

So if you are on a slight budget, I would just do a lower line version of whatever you are putting in the doors. If you have money to spend, then go for it!

Thanks,

Toby

sounds good...lets start of with the jl audio setalthbox for the 350z, if everything goes ok. you have a coustomer for life. i get my bonus on sat. the 6th. so some time that week. is it ok to call you on your # to place the order? another question the kenwood xr1 amp...what price can you give on that item? would it push that box or would you recomend something else?

You can call me if you want to chat, or you can just Paypal me the money and I will order it at that time.

I don't recommend the Kenwood. I have had 4 of those burn up from customers. I still haven't figured out why, but I assume it's just faulty amplifiers...... I mean it's not like installing them is rocket science.

The enclosure is wired for a 4 ohm load, so I would recommed either a Alpine PDX series amp or a JL Audio Slash series amp. Either one of these can be ran at a 2 or 4 ohm load and still put out max power. Check out the JL Audio 500/1 and 1000/1 or Alpine PDX 600.1 and the 1000.1.

Let me know which of these 4 most tickle your fancy and I will get you a stellar price!

Thanks,

Toby

toby,o.k checked them all out at sonicelectronix....1) do i need i 1000 amp when the box is rate at 600rms? seems like the alpine 600 would be a perfect fit or is more power better? 2) your point of view on jl or alpine, who makes the better amp? which one would you get for this setup? which one is more likely not to over heat or cut out? which one can you make the best deal on?

thanks,eddie

The big advantage to the Alpine PDX amplifiers is that they are extremely small. Both amplifiers will have excellent sound quality..... the JL slightly better. Most people would not even notice the difference though. Both amplifiers will run at a nice cool temp. Both amplifiers have the same exact mark-up, but you get more power for the price with the Alpine. I would suggest the PDX 1.600 at $379 shipped.

hi Toby. Where are you located? I have a 2007 Infiniti G35X and I want to change out the dumbass (and I paid a lot of money for it!! - so who is the dumbass??) Bose speakers and possibly the Clarion head unit. I was told by Bose they only work together for they were designed to be together. The Clarion head unit has the GPS, Voice Activation, Blue Tooth, XM, etc... it is the top of the line system but sounds like crap.

Are you nearby New Haven, CT for me to drive it over and check it out, and let me know of options? Thanks. Ken

Unfortunately Ken, I am in Central Illinois. I think that just might be a tad bit of a drive for you! I would keep the factory radio, especially since it has GPS and all of the other options. You can use a JL Audio CleanSweep to equal out the outputs of that Clarion and get a perfectly flat signal. You can then add speakers and amplifiers of your choice! Let me know if this interests you and we can discuss in it more detail.

Thanks,

Toby

Hey guys well I definitely bump Toby for great seller.... All I did was email him told him what car I had and to come up with something that sounded good for a fair price, and a couple days later he gave me a full sound system setup for a great price and answered all my question.... I would recommend to anyone whose looking to upgrade there sound system check in with Toby before you go anywhere else!

Toby,

What's up man. I am new to this website. I need to know if there is a custom box (for either 10" or 12" subwoofer) for the Nissan Altima Coupe. Your insight is greatly apprecaited. Thanks!

If you are talking about a JL Audio Stealth box, then no, there is nothing available yet. I'm sure there are some simple MDF boxes out there with a false face to fit "somewhat" custom. Maybe try Ebay or the Altima forum on here. I could build one of course, but I haven't had a new coupe in the shop yet. I would take it to one of your local audio shops and see what they quote you. Keep in mind fiberglass will run you quite a bit more than a MDF enclosure, however, it can be formed to fit however you want.

Thanks,

Toby

I have a 2007 Versa S with a standard radio. I bought a XM Radio (RoadyXT) and would like to pipe it through my radio. I know I have to buy the XM Radio FM Modulator. Looks like I will need a special cable to go between my radio and the antenna (2 wire) connector in order to plug-in the modulator. Do you carry one?

Thanks!

Yes, sir.... $29.95 shipped will get you both adapters that you need. You need the male version to plug into the radio and the female version to plug into the Versa antenna.

Thanks,

Toby

Yes, Paypal is preferred! I was out of stock on the antenna adapters, but they are on the way. So I should have them in 3 days and I will ship everything out the day they arrive.
