Has anyone noticed that as the Bridgestone tires wear to a bald, they are now somewhat more sticky to the road, but with some road noise? Though , their gripon corners have reduced only a little slightly. It seems onsunny days, the stickiness of tire is making up for the loss of grip. Anyone with the same experience yet?

Jacko, read this thread

I'd hate to see you start one like it because you hit an unforeseen wet spot on the road. Get some tires guy...now.

Just ordered in the last 5 minutes, Toyo Proxes T1R (245/35 front and 275/35 rear) on 19s, some brake pads, and clear corners. I rarely drive my car when it rains. The Bridgstones RE0050A are horrible in the rain. I drive my little Nissan in the rain or during wet conditions. My little Nissan will smoke my G-35 Coupe under heavy rain. That littel devil always surprises me with a big smile under adverse conditions.

Glad you did it. I would really hate to read another thread about someone crashing their G, or worse yet, getting hurt doing it. Glad you are going to be safe.
