That seems like a pretty good deal. Not sure I want to start to replace the entire braking system, 4 caliper sounds nice but mine were completely replaced at 42k so they have only 40 on them......so many choices

Remember you can sell your 97 Q brakes for at least $200 to some 240 owners.

The largest improvement in a brake system is from pads, not rotors and high heat fluid such as Motul RBF600 (600 degree boiling temp.).

Found out yesterday my mechanic can get me Brembo blanks for 33 bucks each! That's awesome!!!! Cheaper than Tire Rack and no shipping. I'm going to use the new Wagner ceramic pads he's recommending, the plates are pre-bonded to the pads, and he has had no returns with these pads. I'll flush the brakes with Dot 5 Valvoline, I don't really see a need to go with Motul in this car. I'm draining the Redline oil that's been in since Feb (changed Amsoil filter half way through) and going back to Amsoil, and I'm going to flush the PS system this Saturday.
How did those ceramics work for you? I tried them on my J but felt they had a higher stopping distance. I am considering standard OEM for my 99 Q.
