Probably not a good idea. Stoptech does plenty of research to make sure the piston sizes are correct for the car it will go on. They are essentially designed to work with the existing m/c.

Wheels offset/width has nothing to do with brake clearance...Offset and width just place the barrel of the rim in respect to the mounting flange of the wheel. Brake clearance is determined by the actual design of the spoke, and wether or not they will curve around the caliper.

"why drive when you can drift??"

Most people (me being one) would say they aren't for any kind of performance application at all, I cant imagine any of these big brake kits helping on any ones 240 except maybe some of the more serious track cars. The stock calipers can lock up the tires, and unless your fading your brakes(just getting good pads is enough for the vast majority of 240 owners) the part that is holding your stopping power back is your tire.More brake then you need does nothing but add unsprung weight and rotational inertia.

however if youre crazy enough they can do semi-custom kits to your hearts desire...i could get 355mm fronts and 328mm rears with their ST40's at both ends, all with a custom MC, manual brakes, etc etc...if i wanted

Its not 'if you wanted', its if you could afford it. Everyone would have 683mm of calipers if it was easy as -wanting- them.

I personally wouldnt spend the money on brakes, but you obviously dont have my wallet. I cant wait to see your setup

Yikes, who'd he get those pads from? A guy named Rishie? The rotors should be 2 piece. The actual rotors themselves aren't too bad. I forget what cost is on those but it aint all that bad.

haha, looks like i've left some of you guys on the edge of your seats! Well the brakes should happen within a month. And, i just recently got my hands on a specific "car" that will need more than the usual 4 pistons up front.... .....you'll see sooon..
