Well i just installed my hallman boost controller tonight and when i took it for a test run right when i get on it and it hits 12 or 10 psi it pops and then it goes...

i checked the plugs they were all fine. do u guys think it could be a bad coil pack???

thanks!

well we wouldnt know unless you check to see it buddy it could be a number of things so you have to use your brain, check everything that affects breaking up(gap size on spark plugs, boost leak test, test injectors/coil packs, make sure your boost controller is working properly) it could be a number of things so check to make sure everything is good to go then come back. Theres are alot of helpful threads so if you dk how to do something search an see if you can find the answer ya know make it easier on ya self

Spark plug gap?

Coil packs(are they cracked?)

Boost leaks?

Low grade fuel?

Are you running an FMIC and high volume fuel pump?

well i checked all my **** out and the gap is good on the plugs like they shuold be....

but i found on the #1 coil he spring inside the coil has fallen out and was on the plug....so im guessing that has gotta be it..

when i turned up the boost on my car, it crackled real bad and stopped accelerating for a moment, but if i let up on the gas a tad or just toughed it out, it would catch again.

i put in a sard 265 lp/h with a new fuel filter, and that actually solved the problem 100%. so, my guess, if everything else is fine, not enough fuel to deal with the extra air?
