amazing thread, looking forward to your finished work. and agreed with wc, i would reconsider the interior, its really annoying driving around in a stripped car, you hear literally everything, not to mention its ugly as hell... but nontheless its your project do what makes you happy and keep us updated, all the time lol.

the rear garnish has dents here and there and does not fit right, i'm building my drean car and i want it it be on the bounderies of not being a street car,so just a dash and a headliner will do(stupid sunroof lol)

you don't throw away 240sx parts, you just make another nico member store them at their house.

wirebrush them to high hell, and then soak in mineral sprits, then poke them through some paper and paint the heads gold.

so i made some progress in the past two days,i started to stitch weld the complete chassis,i started on the engine bay then the cabin. i am far from done.lol i am waiting for the steering rack buishings to pull off the complete front assembly and stitch the inner fender whells and frame rails and i will move my way to the back of the car.

btw the car will be resprayed Champagne Gold inside and out agian as factory, the color will be mixed to have a little more pop. just think team funky's onevia.

just bought a few parts online just now,

an msd high pressure e-fuel pump:

15 gallon alloy fuel cell with -8AN male outlets:

and a earl's inline screen fuel filter with -8AN male inlet and outlet

next i will be buying steel bradied fuel line and a fuel cooler for the fuel system.

my plan for the fuel system layout will be to cut out the the spare tire whell and weld in a flat sheet of metal in it's place.i will then create a frame for the cell, cut the cut the spare wheel delete to the right size for the cell and drop the cell a few inches down with the rear sump facing outwards.it sounds complicated but some of you guys will get the idea.lol

i'm still waiting for my stance soildsubframe bushings to drop the rear subframe and steering rack bushing to drop the front crossmember.

8 gallon bottom sump cell (need to upgrade to 12)

This pump off ignition relay, into Automotive pressure regulator, into inline filter to my fuel rails. Straight forward set up. One supply, one vent, one return off the reg

That Fuel cell won't pass any sanctioned track events. I just went through all that garbage a few months ago. You need a fuel cell that has an internal bladder, foam padding and then a steel outer shell. ATL and Fuel Safe are the only 2 manufactures of them.

Not trying to be an A$$, just don't want to see you go through all the work of installing this and then have to rip it back out and pay at least $500 for a FIA approved fuel cell.......

One other thing, look into weld-on aluminum -AN fittings for your fuel rail, they sell them on Jegs and Summit, or wherever you get your -AN fittings.
