So in early 2019, I dropped in here to ask about brake and rotor options for my '15 Q70 S. The community had a lot of endorsements for the Brakemotive kit for sale on eBay. Well, it took a whopping 18 mos. for my 2.5mm rear pads and 5mm front pads to get to the point where I wanted to replace them all at once. The Brakemotive parts cost $238 and I paid a local shop $300 for the installation this week. I know the Infiniti dealer was going to share A LOT more. So far I am VERY happy and wanted to come back to Thank the community. Another endorsement for the Brakemotive kit after just one week!

FYI - my OEM Infiniti brakes had all of the usual issues at the end of life - noisy, pulsing brake pedal, shaking steering wheel, etc. Oh, I did follow the recommended bedding in process for the pads and rotors from Brakemotive, so we'll see if that makes any difference. T

I second that. I bought the Brakemotive kit for my M56x. I was fortunate and only paid $120 for the install. It's been about a month and I am very pleased.

So it's been 3 months with the Brakemotive kit about 3K miles and I notice some differences now. Almost like a humming or groan sound when I apply the brakes. I was going to have them inspected to see if someone notices anything when I get my tires rotated.

They were very quiet and not noticeable and not every time I brake I hear this new sound. Does anyone else have that experience?

A lot of times Nissan brakes will "grumble" under moderate-to-hard application from highway speed, especially if there's no lube on the shoulders of the pads (the tabs that fit into the guide channels on the caliper frame). That's normal as long as they aren't pulsating.

I had mine installed for 3 years and they were the best.
No noise
No didst
No vibrations
I'm going to put them on my Murano when I need to replace the stock crap.

I actually just ordered a pair of front rotors. I had just replaced them in Oct 2020. My tire shop told me they we warped. Heavy head-shake braking around 45-50mph. Im going to try and make a warranty claim through brakemotive. Going for a hail mary to get compensated if not its not the end of the world.
