By far, the best bang for the buck, not to mention easiest swap you can do is the Q45 front brake upgrade. Very cheap too. They are 2 piston calipers and have much more bite than stock ones.
What you will need:
-Set of Q45 front calipers. You can get some used ones out of a junkyard.
-Mounting bolts for the calipers. Very important you get these as they're usually back ordered at the dealer. J30 bolts will work too.
-Q45 rotors. Get new ones and have them drilled at a machine shop for 4 lug if need be. Don't do it yourself unless you have a drill press.
I've done this swap and the difference is very noticeable. While I did at first buy used calipers, I ended up using them as cores for fresh re-manned ones. Peace of mind. I also kept my stock master cylinder. They do lock up easier than stock, but you just have to be aware when you need to brake hard. It's not unmanageable.
They bolt right up and the only modification you need is to trim your heat/dust shield. You can retain your factory lines.
Here's a link if you needed more detail on how to do this.
