Ok.. Here it goes.. I know others have posted problems with not getting pressure in the pedal but they don't have it at all.

I installed z32 calipers front and rear with e brake assembly blah blah.. went to bleed the breaks did all four corners twice. The first time i had pressure, but once i let off the pedal and try to press it in again it would go to the floor. Did it again and had same results. I hear a small vacuum leak it seems to be around the master cylinder area. Not sure what it could be. Any ideas? It could also be just the fluid going through the break lines.. hard to tell.. Seems to have good pressure but just falls out if i wait and press in the pedal again..

Any input would be great. The master cylinder I bought was used but in very good condition so it seemed. It was bigger than stock of course to support new breaks. Thanks.

You forgot to bench bleed the master cylinder.

Master cylinders can not be installed dry, they will hold air in them, and you will have a very very hard time bleeding it out.

You will need to pull it back out and bench bleed it before you will be able to build good pressure.

Yes, if the bleed screws are pointing down the calipers will trap air.
