Call me the group buy man I guess. Since I asked around people have been offering me other group buys. This one caught my eye. Jeff from Heavy Throttle emailed me this:

Quote »Rotors Z32 30mm or 26mm: $120 per pair (normally $149 per pair)Front Z32 conversion lines: $65 per pair (normally $79 per pair)stock 240sx rotors: $95 per pair (normally $129)

Rotors are Brembo (except 26mm Z32) Drilled and Slotted, Cadmiun Silver coated. Drilling for 4 lug is free if needed. Slotted only or drilled only or blanks same price.Need 5 pairs of rotors, 5 pairs of lines for these prices.
Im down for the front and rear stock rotors. Any other takers?

Yes. The Brembo slotted/drilled rotors. He just meant they were direct replacement. They are on the website listed at 130 a pair but he will sell them for 95. I think this is a great deal thats why i posted it.

I emailed Jeff about the brake pads. I'll tell you when he gets back to me. Yes, this is a great deal, I definately don't want it to pass on us. Less than 200 for 4 brembos is always a great deal.

Yea I find it funny when ppl get rims with no brake upgrade. You can really see there ugly rotors. So all you guys wit rims this is your chance to really make them wheels stand out!

Some of us realize that our cars are street cars and don't need to look like racercars w/ drilled or slotted rotors and are happy with our "ugly" solid rotors. And some of us just aren't ricers...

Do it for performance, not for looks IMHO.

some people...correction, most people have absolutely no need for drilled/slotted rotors. blanks are more than capable of handling most people's braking needs.

are drilled/slotted rotors rice? maybe not. but imo, they're ugly.

it would be rice when you are buying a plain brembo rotor that was drilled and slotted after it was made, not by brembo. and thinking you are buying a superior rotor to an undrilled/slotted rotor when you are actually getting less.

speaking of which i dont think brembo drills AND slots their rotors.

Heavy throttle got back to me on the brake pad subject. He said:

Quote »We have Axxis Metal Masters, normally $39 per set, for 5 orders we can do $30. We have them for 30mm and 26mm Z32, and all stock 240SX front and rear.
Please people, lets not bicker over whether or not you like the rotors, thats not the point of the thread.

Heres the list so far:-240SXedUp: 2 pair of 5 lug rotors for S14 and 2 sets of pads-S13GUY: 2 pair of (5 or 4 lug?) rotors for ???-Aries: 1 pair rotors (fr.) 4 lug for S14-Silent Drifter: 1 pair rotors (fr.) for S13. 4 lug I assume?Possibly: Fiznat

Right now I have no 100% sure people (other than myself) but 4 people, 6 pairs of rotors, have said they are interested. No one has said anything about pads. We only need 3 more pairs of pads to get the price cuz im getting 2 pair myself.
