i have a question on the rotors. Are they brembo blanks that are drilled and slotted by somone else, or what? since brembo dosent both drill and slot their rotors.

Quote »All Brembo rotors we offer have the following features: Zinc plated – anti corrosion treatment. The rotors will not rust on the ‘hat’ and outer edges Cross-drilled – rotors are cross-drilled, for better cooling and brake gas ventilation. CNC machining is used. Slotted – rotors are slotted for increased performance. Rotors can be ordered with either of the above options.
From the webpage

240SXedUP-- COUNT ME IN!!!!

I have a 95 240sx SE (non abs). If I can get the front 30mm Brembo Z32 rotors for $120 and front SS lines for $65, the rear brembo replacements for $95 and the front pads for $30 and the rear pads for $30 (even if I have to pay $39 cause we dont get more than 5 sets sold) count me in!

Im not sure how this will work, but I would like to finish teh kit off and get rear SS lines and front Z32 aluminum calipers w/hardware ($35). I know the rear lines are $55 but they do not list the calipers... Is it possible to get all of that so I have a complete kit fro the front and rear?

i have a suggestion... if it's Heavy Throttle... since they are a paying advertiser... y not ask them to make this availiable to every1 and make it a larger group buy and post it in the "advertiser's special's" forum? It'd bring them more business and give more ppl a chance to get in on this great deal...if i had the money for some rotors i would definately be in on this...

maybe u misunderstood my post... if the advertiser makes it availiable in the advertiser's special's forum for an extended amount of time... then they get more business and more members have the oppurtunity to save... its a win-win situation... thats y i suggested contacting them about it since you are already in commmunication with them and kind of taking the leadership on this deal...

If this lasted for maybe another two weeks or so, I think I might be able to get in for some rotors and pads... I know thats a long time, I just have a lot of expenses right now.

...My manifold group buy lasted a whole month!

240SXedUP-

You forgot that I also would also have to get the Z32 calipers for the rotors, the hardware kit ($35) AND front pads for the caliper ($30) AND rear SS lines ($55)... I emailed HT and asked them about this but have not gotten a response (weekend). I will only be gettgin the front z32 rotors and conversion lines if I can also get the calipers and hardware to make it a complete kit.

I am not sure I am comfortable will all these groupbuys either.

Why dont you just email the advertiser and say "if you make it a special we will buy" and then they post it in the advertiser section.

Are you at least telling them, this a bunch of guys from NICO?

We need to keep those sponsors, if you want us to stick around.

Of course I told HT that this was for NICO. It was in response to an AGX gb i wanted to start. They said they couldnt do that, but they could do brakes. I got the info. I posted it. Ill email them tomorrow when they open business about putting it in the advertiser's thing. But since this is only for rotors and stuff im sure they can do a similar gb later for it. I just dont think alot of us want to wait 2 1/2 months for some rotors. I mean all they need is 5 pair sold. If there is a huge demand for them than im sure theyd make another one

But wat im saying is... either it could stay a group buy (once the quota is filled and paid for...they can ship out...but leave it open for a while for others to join in...but with the quota being filled, those ppl dont have to wait for products... (alot of companies will do it this way...) OR just make it a NICO member's special for like a month or something (some set amount of time)

?? Why not? This one is even from a sponsor... I think its good for NICO, not only for the members side of things, but also because it reminds our sponsors of our power as active consumers. "Hey Heavy Throttle! We picked YOU to spend all our money with, because you are sponsoring NICO. YOU have special access to this huge buying force, simply because you knock a few dollars off of the price and NICO organises a group buy. Lucky you!"

Everybody seems to win, I dont understand the issue... Thanks for leaving this up anyways though.

Quote »Yes we can continue the group buy for the whole month of March. People will have to call in to complete the order, so we can get all the details we need. Paypal payment is fine, but call in to get the total first. Credit cards can be taken over the phone.
So whoever wants to can get them now. I'm going to call tomorrow or Wednesday. Just tell him you are in the NICO group buy and what you want. The number is 866-4-SR-SWAP (866-477-7927) and they are open Mon-Thurs 11am-7pm EST, Friday 11am-6pm, and are Closed Saturday and Sunday. Ill post this in the advertiser's section.
