PoorManQ45.....

You will NOT start any more threads asking questions, and then argue about them..... Not in my forum, not on my watch!!!!! You dont go asking questions to the experts, and then come back and say "Umm, i really know more than you"...... THIS IS NOT A TEST

I didnt read this thread, nor do I intend to.. For those who have, I apologize for the waste of time....

As said in the great gatsby (by F. Scott Fitzgerald) "[speaking of his tolerance level] I have come to the admission that it has a limit. Conduct may be founded on the hard rock or the wet marshes but after a certain point I dont care what its founded on"... Everyone here (including said admins) have been VERY tolerant, but their tolerance has limits, and you are nearing it my friend!

PMQ....

If you bothered to read the old threads on brakes which are all within the last 6 months you would have learned that the new BMW 7 series only uses huge 1 piston calipers as per Q45tech informed us the last time somebody tried to say that the more pistons there are the better (probably true in general but not always the case as with the 7 series). I am sure that the BMW engineers who decided to go with a 1 piston caliper had a very good reason vs. going with 2-4-6 piston calipers for the new 7 series.

Speaking of... I just bought a set of THE most powerful brakes BMW has ever made... oddly enough, they're also single piston. Conincidence? I don't think so.

PMQ, it's been said over and over again. Do some research before you post and stop asking ridiculous questions and trying to tell us you're going to by some Brembo 6 piston calipers for your Q!! You clearly need to get educated, and you're beyond NICO's help. So stop wasting readers, moderators, administrators, NICO members and NICO experts time! Go read already, and stop posting! You're obviously not sticking in near enough research time!

not that this has any bearing on the conversation, but i want to make a point.

1000 miles ago, i changed the pads on the maxima to satisfied pro ceramic pads.

contrary to the box, i was not satisfied.

what did i do today? i went to nissan armed with my 20% account discount, and bought front and rear pads, hardware kit, an air filter, fuel filter, and two oil filters.

it also taught me a lesson. scottsdale infiniti has better advertised prices for nissan parts than i paid for oem parts at my local dealer WITH my 20% discount.

my haste cost me about $30.
