Turbo XS is junk.

Stay with proven brands... HKS, GReddy, Blitz, Tial.... just to name a few.

I do and the sound nasty/loud; and 20psi of boost, they both hold steadily and blow-off like with a distinctive Psheeeew type sound which is evident of two blow0ff valves. I've seen new SSQVs leak and even the turboXS thinga-majiggies as well. The old school rulez!

Wife runs super sound, I run type R. the Blitz is so loud on her car you can hear it pop at 1000 meters or so at full throttle gear changes. I scored her a second one and when I put the HKS intercooler into her 180SX I'll set up twins. Overkill now but when the T04S is on her CA it will be barely enough:eek:

I prefer the Type R because I like BEEF, this bad bay is the whole side of a mad cow. :)

The beefiest blow off I have ever seen though was on this Japanese guy's RB. He was using an HKS standard wastegate as a blowoff valve! Apparently the T88 was just too strong for anything less, yikes!

i'm new to the concept of two blow off valves... i'm guessing its to release the pressure faster? soo should both blow off valves have the same type of spring or what's goin on?

I'm running the Blitz Super Sound DD on my SR. I've not had any problems with it and it sounds great. Just sounds like a whoosh. Nothing high pitched. Mine is mounted inside the car near the throttle body but you can still here it over the engine noise.

The reason for two is for really high boost pressures (generally). It's for volume mostly. When the boost is high, sometimes one BOV can't move enough air. Plus those guys are all about ricing their cars out so they think they're cool. ;) Hehehehe
