I installed a 180SX VLSD today. Took me a couple hours from start to finish, but I got it done, haha. Drives a lot better than the ol' open diff! Ordering coilovers for my coupe, so the lowering springs and struts are going on the vert in the next couple weeks as well! Small mods, but at least I'm doing something!

Welcome .. althought a bit delayed (sorry but been pulling a Dexter and spending nights in the garage). Car looks clean (sans the tweaked door). Looks like you have a nice plan for her. I remember the days when mine was unmolested..lol. Like the riced valve cover..lol. I agree with the SR. Hell if the price is right then jump on it. Practically plug and play. I know some folks are enjoying the KA-T setup, and kudos to them. I remember jumping on the SR bandwagon a couple of years ago, but the KA-t was still in it's infancy. AZ Hitman has a sexy one (he had one of the early one's that I saw). Do what fits the budget. The way I look at it is if your already an SR fan, then you just buy for two when you buy parts. One is a test subject and the other gets the hand me downs..lol Good luck and keep us posted. Thanks for being on top of things as well (pics and registry).

Lol, thanks man. I am thinking of possibly going a different route now. I know a guy who'll give me the entire rb25det swap setup for 3700, or I was thinking of trying out a KA-T, lol. I have an SR, so I want to do something else, lol. My main prob right now is whether or not to dump money into this car, or to continue on my coupe until it is near completing

Well, I finally got my S13 Convertible up and running again! The motor went last year, and it has been sitting up until last month when I started to work on her again! I also converted it to a manual from an automatic! It only has a few mods, but is pretty much stock, lol. Here are the current pics!
