I'm sure yours was a bit cleaner and lower miles though, lol. This car needs some work! (mainly cosmetic though)

Definetly good find. Clean shape. Just the standard front seat tear. But the s13 chassis always needs new seats. They suck. Good luck on it, keep us posted.

Yeah, the main "bad" thing is the driver side door. The skin is all wrinkled up by the fender. Don't think I can get a door of a regular S13, but I might be able to get the skin off of one, lol. The fender has a bit of that too, but that's an easy replacement job. Other than that, it's just typical vert interior warpage and what not.

Well atualy your kinda in luck. You can grab a whole door off of a s13 coupe or hatch. As long as you do both you'd be fine. You'll lose the extra pillars. The only thing is you'll have to rig up a harness bar to put some harneses in as geting rid of the pillar. You'll actualy save 85ish lbs this way as well.I personaly dont like the pillars as most people dont. Its one of the first mods people like to do to our cars. Good luck trying to find another vert door if you want to stay that way its near impossible. If the Skin you are talking about is just the inside panel, i'm not to sure if they are interchangable. I think they can be but you gota do alot of gutting on the door as the door is braced so much different. But i could be wrong. I've never pulled the skin off and looked on both the cars.Good luck let us know whaty ou do

Haha, yeah it was a joke from back when I was in high school, and the screen name stuck for a long time. I ended up switching my screen name to "2_Liter_Turbo", but didn't until a year or so after I registered for nico, lol.

Thanks for the Welcome guys. I've been a part of NICO for quite a while (joined about after buying my first 240SX), but never have owned a vert until now! And I'm not selling it!

The stock exhaust is all banged up, so I'm looking for an exhaust like a blitz realize TT, RSR exmag, etc.

Also, replacing all the little things that are all banged up or broken. Including a driver side door that I might have to pay $$$ for to ship across the country, lol.

5-lug conversion (I have a set of S14 SE wheels laying around), and dropping the car is after the previous things.

Then possibly an LSD, and 5 speed swap.

Then who knows, haha... the stock KA is pretty slow...... (i have an SR in my coupe, so the KA is just crawling along for me!)

In my opinion, you should do your mods in this order:

1) Exhaust - gives the KA a nice growl that will tide you over while you save up some more money2) 5-speed + LSD - HUGE improvement that will make you feel better about the car and wonder why on God's green earth didn't the vert come that way from the factory?!3) Coilovers - how I lived so long without this, I don't know. I'd definitely recommend getting low before getting boost. It's like a whole new car now and handling is increased dramatically. This will definitely tide you over while you save up for boost. 3.5) You're going to want some better fitting wheels. Don't go crazy and spend a bunch of money because you've still got big upgrades planned. But with coilovers, you're definitely going to want to get some better offsets. Along with this, you'll want some adjustable rear upper control arms (RUCAs) to adjust your rear camber.4)Little things - eh, get this stuff here and there or whenever you find a good deal.5) KA-T - screw an imported swap. There's a lot of aftermarket support now for the KA. Heck, people are making 300+HP on the stock bottom end. Get creative and enjoy the torquy "truck motor" with a snail. 6) 5-lug conversion - This is very unnecessary most of the time and mostly a cosmetic issue until you start looking for flush wheels. The options just aren't there for the 4-lug wheels. I say save this for last so you can have time finding the right wheels.

Wow, that's almost the same order I'm doing things...

Lol, well my opinion may vary from yours, but it's close!
DeXteR wrote:1) Exhaust - gives the KA a nice growl that will tide you over while you save up some more money
Agree!
DeXteR wrote:2) 5-speed + LSD - HUGE improvement that will make you feel better about the car and wonder why on God's green earth didn't the vert come that way from the factory?!
the LSD I do agree, that was the first mod for my coupe! The 5 speed swap, I'm ordering all the parts that I need at the moment for the general swap (already bought the pedals), but I do not want to order specific parts (like the KA transmission, etc), until I settle on my engine choice, that way I don't waste my money, haha.

I'm actually ordering coilovers for my coupe here in about 2 weeks, and therefore, the spring/strut combo that are on it, are going to the vert! The coupe is #1 priority right now, but that's a whole different story, haha.

I have extra 5 lug wheels sitting around, from my coupe, that I am going to use once I get the 5-lug done. As I see it, 5 lug conversions are cheaper than a new set of wheels!
DeXteR wrote:4)Little things - eh, get this stuff here and there or whenever you find a good deal.
Pretty much!

Haha, as I see it, I already have a power moster 4 cylinder (coupe has a GT3071R SR20DET and then some in the works). Since the vert is a cruiser, I want something with a different exhaust tone, and something that runs smoother. I'm actually considering doing the rb25det swap on it. I know the KA-T is a *****'n setup, that was my original plan for my coupe, but I found an SR for soo cheap, that I couldn't pass it up! Someday I will...

My reasoning is stated above, lol

There you have it! My reasoning for what I'm doing The engine wont be happening until the fall, but everything else will happen within the next couple months! My coupe will satisfy my need for speed in the meantime. It should be done withing the next 2-3 weeks!

I thought I saw somehwere in that post that you asked for input...

I read it again and was wrong. I just wasted a bunch of everyone's time (mostly my own) posting that.

Oh well.

Haha, you didn't waste any time bro! I'm always open for input! I'm actually about to order the LSD, haha. Couldn't find any decently priced used exhausts (not a big fan of buying new exhaust), so I just decided to get the 180SX VLSD w/ 5 bolt axles for now, and get the exhaust when I come across a good deal. And I'll keep everything updated! I'm excited about the vert!
